Well, that depends on the QB.
I mean Coker to Hurts to Tua to Mac to Bryce, I mean we recruit highly ranked QBs too.
The thing that worries me with Beck is they wanted him to have the backup job in 2021 to JTD to the point they practically gave it to him. When practice of UAB week started and all he had to do was be decent in practice, they put Stetson in and the rest is history. (Though Stet did need JTD to not start again after the Vandy game)
My worry is that Beck might let the nerves get to him. We'll see.
The spring game was encouraging.

Bobo and smart are not offensive masterminds
It is highly likely that some SEC Fanbase is on here in 3 or so years telling everyone how their new HC, Mike Bobo, is going to turn their program around and turn them into a contender. Mike Bobo is a VERY good football coach and OC...Kirby Smart has earned a reputation for good decision making, it is incumbent upon the individual to accept that or not but by any measure it is accurate.

And the reasonable fans with be flabbergasted at the take.

True...those among the fan base with the new coach and those of us who aren't....short of Nick Saban that would be the case with any new hire...

Kirby beat Kelly in 2019 with the worst OC in CFB. A new OC isn't a concern for us with regards to playing LSU, regardless of who it is

Losing Monken and Stetson Bennett are both huge losses. UGA has the easiest schedule in the SEC but they won't come out of Neyland with a win abd will get blasted if they make it to Atlanta.

Wait... if you beat them, why wouldn't y'all go to Atlanta?

Bobo has a ton of talent at his disposal, like a kid in a candy store so he'll do alright. And with that schedule, he'll do what he wants this season.

Bobo averaging 41pts per game with Richt's offensive line says otherwise
And with Hutson Mason at QB.

But UGA's QB isn't without experience.
He doesn't have a ton, but he's got 15 pass attempts against ranked teams last season (going 12-15 for 157 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT and 3 rushes for 29 yards).
He's got 17 pass attempts against SEC teams last season (going 13-17 for 153 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT, 3 rushes for 38 yards).
He actually got pretty solid experience as a backup last year as UGA got him in a lot of games against good teams because they were good enough to blow out many of those teams.
For comparison, Nussmeier for LSU had 27 pass attempts against ranked teams (all against UGA) and 34 against SEC opponents. He's not all that more experienced then Beck.

Because we will probably lose on the road against Bama and can can also slip up against SC, A&M or even on the road at UF. Let's not forget Aggies are bringing a Petrino offense to the mix. They are going to be much better than people think imo and winning in the swamp is NEVER easy for us.
I think we win out and only lose at Bama though. Besides LSU last year, we are a usually flat road team overall so far under Heupel. Thankfully our toughest opponents at home this year.

Did you see our defense that season?!?
Bobo was NOT the reason we lost three games in 2014. We couldn’t stop air.

would be really interesting if some Gamecock fans would chime in here and give their take.
Why do you need Gamecock fans to give you their take. Are you saying USCe is the same caliber team as UGA?

15 whole garbage time attempts!!!!! That changes everything.
By you standards Joe Milton must be a seasoned veteran returning starter. (He’s not by the way)

You never could bring yourself to admit beck had more pass attempts than Milton did in 2022 until your starter got hurt.

Bobo put up big numbers with less talent than we have now. Aaron murray said that yesterday.
