The thing that worries me with Beck is they wanted him to have the backup job in 2021 to JTD to the point they practically gave it to him. When practice of UAB week started and all he had to do was be decent in practice, they put Stetson in and the rest is history. (Though Stet did need JTD to not start again after the Vandy game)
The difference this year is A) Beck is a couple years older in the system and got the proverbially boot in the arse to help one realize the difference between expecting to be starting because of a depth chart and earning the right to start and B) he knows without a doubt, if he doesn't put in the work, there are two others right behind him who will get their chance, especially the way the first month of the season turned out for UGA this year.
I will say one thing. The one inherent quality that helped Bennett was the lack of fear of failure. He would make a wrong read or a risky throw and turn right back around on the next series and not be afraid to go balls to the wall if needed. Some people have that; others don't.

Yea, maybe he wasnt ready 2 years ago, but 2 years a lot of time to learn and improve.

The biggest difference is Beck will be opposite the best defense in the country or one of the top 2-3. He’ll be behind one of if not the best OL in the country. He’s got a huge safety valve in bowers, and the RB room and WR room are pretty solid

He doesn’t get the credit he deserves, imo. He had it between the ears.

Not really. It’s Kirby’s “don’t frick over the defense” O that Monken was “executing”. Monken will be job hunting in the next 3 years.

UGA has the easiest schedule in the SEC but they won't come out of Neyland with a win abd will get blasted if they make it to Atlanta

Once Monken left, the esteem the rest of the SEC had for his play calling rose exponentially. Einstein level.
Because he did a really good job

Bobo with a Kirby defense & a solid 6’4” QB who knows the system.
Not to mention the wr corps.
It’s all good.

Monken meant to that offense with play calling
Bobo and smart are not offensive masterminds
Monken was top notch, no doubt. I do think we will miss him, but I also think Bobo will do well. Our offenses did well when he was here before, but that does not always translate to success again. We'll just have to wait and see.

Why you think you will lose to Bama but not the Dawgs?

Doesn’t matter. A wet paper towel could be the OC for Georgia and they’d still go 12-0

Yeah, we thought the same thing until Coley took the reigns.

Do you remember Tennessee under Fulmer after David Cutcliffe left? We were every bit as stacked with talent as UGA back then.
Never underestimate the power of a good offensive coordinator.
Also see how bad on offense we were under Pruitt despite having decent talent. Having good coordinators is everything.

Bama is on the road. I doubt we go there and get a win unless their QB is just atrocious.

UGAs offense was so talented . I was watching their 3rd string te come in and look like a first rounder. Everyone one of their players could go up and make a bad pass look great . Really was a thing of beauty . Monken had a lot to do with it but let’s not forget Stetson did as well.

UT has never been as stacked as UGA is now.
