Did this really need a whole new thread?
I still win if it's rape.
I still win if it's rape.

But it doesn't make sense that he hasn't been arrested.
May be something they need some issues settled before issuing a warrant.

And apparently something that's going to be difficult to prosecute per the article.

Jesus this is piss poor writing. This is the article, verbatim.
A source close to the investigation has confirmed that the University of Florida police department is investigating University of Florida quarterback Treon Harris for a possible felony charge.
The source, speaking to FLORIDA TODAY, confirmed that Harris in all likelihood will be suspended from Saturday's LSU football game.
And there is a good chance he will not be able to play during the
Harris a freshman from Booker T Washington High school in Miami, led Florida to a come-from-behind 10-9 win at Tennessee on Saturday.
The source also said possible prosecution sounds extremely difficult.
Harris led his high school team to the Class A state championship in 2012 and 2013.

I know this is the worst possible time to ask, but how good did he look saturday? I didn't see any of the 2nd half so I have no idea about the guy. Is he supposed to be pretty legit?

I still don't see why they cancealed a school news conference over a players legal issues. He is hardly the first Florida player to get into trouble. Unless he really is the next Aaron Hernandez and killed some people

I think he threw 2 passes and had some good rushes. The offense got into a flow with him in the game

He led the team to 10 points in a QTR. Driskel led them to 0. So, yeah. He's a little more legit.
Now he's not.
Now he's not.

Just read possible felony charge LINK
Felony seems right, misdemeanor would have been a back burner issue
The question now is which felony?
Point Shaving
Rape
Assault
Redrum (killed lots of Vol fans with that win)
Guns (robbery type stuff)
Hit and Run and it went bad for victim

I think it's probably because the press conference already was going to be about the Treon/Driskel controversy, and they didn't want to release the Treon news in this matter without legal consul.
