UF may have succumbed to the alt uniform trend once again

This time if what I heard on the radio is true it will be awful. Here's to hoping that scenario two below doesn't happen.
1) It's pretty clear that we are going to wear a white helmet against Vandy. The only thing in doubt is the logo. Will be it be the logo in my avatar, the modern slant F or the old school block F. That's the only mystery here.
2) The radio guys in Jax this morning said they are hearing black uniforms. This would be awful in my view. Black is not one of our colors, it's going to be 85 degrees Saturday and black with a white helmet would be terrible.
Hopefully the black uniform idea is scrapped and if they ever do that they pair that with a black helmet. I hope neither of those things happen though.

Florida's alts are usually pretty sharp, aside from that weird one-orange shoulder pad from a few years ago.

Honestly, I like the white helmets. Even with the slant F. It's one of the better "alternate" helmets in the conference.

That'd be awful. Worse than the orange shouldered blue jerseys you wore with Leak.

I love that uniform and would like to see if used once a year at least.
I really would like to see this logo mixed in as well.
I think that it would look awesome on a retro style basketball theme. Get the Stockton shorts to go with it.

If we wore black one would think they do the whole "black out" thing as well. I'm with you though black is not one of our colors and I would hate, hate, hate to see us do some gimmick BS like that.
I like those old school Unis we wore against Bama. Other than that leave our unis alone. They are great!

Definitely.
I'm still holding out for the Power K happening one of these days for us. I don't think it will though.

I agree, if we were doing something as drastic a black uniforms there would have been some big campaign to push black t-shirt sales. Lets hope at least they are orange or blue. Go Gators

No troll. Honest answer. I think a white helmet with the gator head that is popular would look really slick. And as far as black uniforms, they are good for once a year I think. But a black jersey with the dark gator blue and highlighter orange on the sleeves or down the seam of the pants would look pretty damn snazzy.

No. God no. I personally can't stand the new Gator head logo. It looks like a frickent cartoon. I like the old fighting gator or the UF circle logo.

The one pictured is one of my favorite SEC uniforms, this coming from an LSU fan who admittedly loathes all things gator.

IDK man. The old gator with the state of Florida looks too much like a dinosaur. I think they could tweek that gator head to look more realistic and it could be slick. I don't like the cursive written helmets on any team though. Too plain. Too outdated. The Offset Florida "F" is kind of cool if used in the right combo.
