Our D hasn't stopped anything all year. Luckily Carolina dropped a million balls and Muschamp is terrible at clock management.

Mond could very well have 500 yards if he has a great day. Seems unlikely for him though.

This team is good on paper. It is not good when you watch them. Stop worrying. Mond is not good enough to out shoot Trask if Trask plays well.

Which I don’t disagree with but if you think our defense is about to shut down Mond, I have some oceanfront property to sell you in North Dakota. We have Burney, Dunlap, Stiner, getting major snaps. That makes us so weak up the middle it’s not even funny. Maybe we get a little better if Campbell and Stewart are back. This defense isn’t going to be a major roadblock for any competent offense in this league though. That’s just not reality. Grantham is going to play his seniors and our ceiling is average.

Florida is going to curb stomp the Gators. Jimbo got that big money. Stole him from our Tigers. Thanks.

Oh I agree. I was just responding to the 500 yards part

Aggies have match up advantages. Their Oline should create rushing lanes(unless we finally get the right personnel on the field magically). Aggies will win the middle on the LOS on defense, so we have to get the ball outside to be effective on the ground. They have two very good running backs to create major headaches.

With that said.

They are an average overall offensive line vs blitz packages. If we blitz, we can create issues. Mond is not good under pressure. Very panicked similar to Nix.

Then there is their secondary. It isnt good. They do not have the horses in the secondary to slow down the passing offense for us.

I'd expect Aggies try to slow the game down for a multitude of reasons. When Trask has the ball, they know they are at a large disadvantage.

His career high was 438 against Clemson in 2018, and that is the best he will ever play.

So the back up qb will help reduce Florida’s point total from 38 to 21? Damn this guy should play on both sides of the ball!

I was watching the game footage for a scouting report I do for the Florida board and I had written:

Mond never goes to his second read. He's a first read type of guy that will throw to the guy whether he's covered or not.

Saw someone read the defense, was considering editing and then saw that it was the backup quarterback.

Real talk, this is the second week in a row where the backup Quarterback is likely better than the starter. (Ryan Hilinski is better than Colin Hill for sure.)

I think the wheels come all the way off this weekend. I think UF goes up early and cruises to a win as Fisher has flashbacks of his wife getting backshots by a UF player

I could see that. If anything, UF maybe starts off a little slow to open but pulls away starting before the half and cruises. Trask/Pitts are amazing but A&M will compete well too.

I think this would be a great opportunity to put together a 4-quarter game (started slow vs OM but got hot in the 2nd half, Started off great vs SC but got lax in the 2nd half).

I truly have no idea how good Florida is. Judging by recent scores, you'll be passing at will.

Mond is going to struggle , but as mentioned before hes struck lucky gold a few times over the past FOUR years. I think Florida will score in the high 30s/40s and A&M will be close but never a real threat to win.

Yes but only if it is a thread about UF.

DBs for Ags are struggling mightily.

Mond has regressed.

I like our RBs.

I like Ags front 7.

Mond kills us, I think.

Toss up. Wish I felt more confident in UF's offense but I don't think the line has been tested yet. If they keep Trask off his back, could be a good day for the Gators by then again, the defense probably gets gashed by big runs.

You're expecting wrong. Refer to the aTm v LSU game last year and that is a clue to how the Gators handle the Ags. Even though it's at a&m, the crowd will not be that significant. Florida wins going away if they don't give the Aggies any gifts.
