True but the defense has evolved
No, they just played bad offenses since then.
UGA - QB is avg at best
UT - Sucks
MSST - Still a work in progress.

In the Arky game, UF proved that they can run the ball if that is the look you give them.
The UF offense is going to take what you give them and manipulate the defense into a mistake.

Florida's A-A tight end could make the difference here.
It should be a great game.

Will be a shootout...
Nope, don't think so. It's still a LOS game and Alabama is going to get push all game. Florida, not so much. Bama is the most balanced offense the Gators will see this year. They will push the Gators all over the field when they want and we will want. The play-action will then speak for itself. That's not a recipe for a shootout.

Arkansas gives up an average of 183 yards a game and UF ran for 208 on 45 carries. So let's pump the brakes on UF being able to run the ball. We have a below avg running game and have been held to less than 100 yards in half of our games.
I will admit that we are better than last year running the ball, but not a lot. We ran the ball for 130 yards a game last year and this year we avg 140.

Bama gave up 45 to Ole Miss. Seems like Ole Miss did whatever they wanted.

UF OL has had big improvement in the last 3 weeks.

All of a sudden, your team is a an unbeatable monster? We all watched all your games. Ole Miss slapped your defense around all night, Georgia did it for a little over a half, and Florida absolutely will score at will on your defense. They will specifically work over your shite Lbers, and embarrass them with mismatches .
That is , in fact, a recipe for a shootout.

This! Bama has played ONE QB worth mention, and he went up and down the field on their "vaunted D"

If you can somehow get Kiffin to bring his offense to Atlanta and dress them in Orange you should be good to go. otherwise, I wouldn't count on seeing that Bama defense again. Now, your defense?

Relying on Mullen’s track record of shitting the bed early in big games and spotting the opponents 10-14 points. Do that against Bama and you’ll never catch up.

Teams that get down 2 TDS to UF allow Gators to play very aggressive defense. Don’t think Bama is getting down 2 TDs.

Bama will definitely be favored, but how awesome is it that Florida and Alabama get to face off in the SEC championship again? I’m just excited about the future at Florida and I’m enjoying the present. Haven’t had this much fun watching my team in a long time.
Cheers to an injury free and good game Bama

UF just shredded the "best" passing defense in the SEC without its best player

The same defense that picked off Corral 6 times, and Corral torched Bama's defense.
I get that Bama is the better team right now, but yall acting like this is a McElwain/Muschamp UF team is just hilarious.

We won't know how much better our defense is until that game.
Anybody thinking we're "back" on defense because we've beaten up on shitty offenses is kidding themselves. It's been better, and I hope it's permanent, but we won't know until we play an elite offense in Atlanta.

So, you guys are saying that losing by two touchdowns, or more, makes it hard to win against other good teams?
I knew I came to the right place for the type of SEC football analysis that my dog can’t give me lmao
