Our secondary, specifically our boundary corners and slot corners, are significantly better than what Georgia trotted out last weekend. Moore, Surtain and Jobe have been elite in pass coverage this season.

Campbell and Stokes are slated to be 1st/2nd round picks. Stevenson will probably go 4th/5th round.

Bama's corners are better than that? Not shite talking, just curious.

Yes. Surtain is the best draft eligible CB in the country, Jobe is top 5-10 and Moore has the best passer rating against amongst slot corners in the country.

Unfortunately our LBs have had issues and our safeties are hit or miss.

Can’t beat A&M, but thinks they can beat Bama. Right.

That's cool then. Get you some points and feel good about yourselves and you got you one heck of a moral victory right there. In the meantime we got other stuff to do.

Basically you don't give anyone the time of day unless they suck Bama off.

Okay then, should be great 1on1 battles. UF has some very physical WRs with Grimes, Shorter, and Whittemore to go with more explosive guys like Toney and Copeland.

UF - 208 yards rushing yesterday

Congrats I guess on running for 200 yards on the SEC's 12th best rushing defense?

I wouldn't consider Florida having a running game any more than Alabama's defense being "back" after playing the offenses we have.

Most Alabama fans were happy to see the mechanical problems from earlier in the year being corrected (poor tackling in the first three games, much better in the next three) and our secondary sticking to assignments (PBUs totaled 7 in the first three games; each game after that has had 7 or more PBUs). I can understand Florida fans wanting to see better from their running game as well, and I imagine if that continues (even against weaker competition), Gator fans will be hopeful.

Alabama vs Florida is definitely going to be a great game. High scoring is almost a certainty (but now that we've all said this, it wouldn't surprise me if the universe turned into a 14-10 slug match).

forget about beating Bama!

Like LSU, OSU, Clemson and Utah did?

Throughout Bama's storied history there have a few, very few upsets.

This won't be one of those rare times.

Arkansas left receivers running wide open on nearly every pass play P. Surtain and Co. will not be so generous!

Agreed - it will be fun.

We both still have work to do, though.

He doesn't get thrown against, and when he does his passer rating against is Top 5 nationally. He's the top or top 2 CB and a 1st round pick in the draft according to basically every NFL Draftnik.

Not sure what else there is for him to do.

Really, in the land of the SEC Rant? Where cognizant thought and football rational tend to finish a poor second to the food fight that is in most of these threads.

Stokes is fine but Campbell is perhaps the 6th ranked CB and falling.Lets not forget our two top DL's were out along with both safeties.

Surtain is much better Campbell and better than Stokes.

Is Florida really a elite team?

They have beaten 4 nobodies in Ole Miss, South Carolina, Missouri and Arkansas.

They beat a Georgia team with a crippled defense and lost to Texas A&M, a team Bama beat by 28 points.

You seemed to struggle with that nobody Ole Miss team if I remember correctly. UF may not be elite, but you haven't done much either if we haven't.

Bama beat the team Florida lost to by 28 points the week before Florida lost to them. Florida gave up quite a few points to Ole Miss too.

Alabama would have to have an off game on offense for Florida to win imo. The Florida defense is just too bad and bama will get some stops but I doubt uf gets any. Similar to the tamu game.
