I did watch that run. UConn showed the gulf between them and everyone else. They shot 17 percent from 3 for the game and Illinois still couldn't touch them, that's how good they are. it wasn't like Illinois was getting bad looks they just couldn't do anything inside.

This. If those two can be somewhat near full strength and shots are falling, you never know what might happen. Odds are it will be an easy win for UCONN but if Bama plays like there’s no pressure…

all the pressure is on UConn.. if bama can keep it close & cause uconn to get tense/nervous who knows? there's a reason we play the game. gotta run it & see what unfolds

Everyone thought the same would happen against UNC. I know this UConn team is a much different beast, but the point remains. Inside will be tough sledding, so expect a barrage of 3's. I think 'Bama fans will stick to enjoying this win for now. This Alabama team has made history and that's enough for most of us.

Bama has had teams twice as talented that didn't play this well. Its a crazy miracle run. A hot shooting driven team with nothing to lose is very dangerous.

As much as I hate to admit it Bama might have the best chance of any team left to best UConn because of their style. If Bama has 4-5 players get from 3 it doesn’t matter how good the opponent is that can’t be stopped. The chances of them being that hot again are small but if they are there really isn’t t much UConn can do to counter it.

Has UConn played anyone with an offense line bama? I haven't been following their opponents... Where does their opponents in this tourney rank offensively?
