I’m sure Connecticut will demolish Alabama but it’s been a hell of a year.

It’s about right. I expect UConn to win this game by 15 or so points. They are an all time great team.

They played poorly this weekend IMO and still won both games by 25 points

Northwestern finished the closest with a 17 point differential.

I’d be happy to keep it within 10. Hurley might be the next great coach in any sport.

IF Bama continues to shoot the ball great, they could beat UConn.

Sears is a really great PG, and he knows who is open when he is doubled.

They have developed more catch and shoot options that can hit a clean air three all day. Griffin, Stevenson, etc.

also are doing some big to big passing to the dunker spot.

UConn is a great team, but stranger things have happed at the final 4.

Creighton did split with UConn this year. Creighton won at home when they had a great night from behind the 3.

In 1985 Villanova shot 78% from the field to beat a stacked Georgetown team.

In 1983, NC State beat a loaded Houston team.

Upsets happen.

They lost 3 games this year. I would not want to bet against this Bama team. It will take an absolutely perfect game, but it's not impossible.

Uconn won't be able to keep up with bama.

Bama is a lock. Pick the over, and bama will be winning by 30+

I truly think Bama should just take 3s on every possession. Going into the paint will be wasted possessions. Take the 3s and hit the boards hard for offensive rebound second chance points.

Either you're hot from 3 and have a puncher's chance or you get blown out. Nothing to lose.

I was thinking 10, which is reasonable; it’s nothing against Bama. It’s just UCONN is that good.

A tournament identifies teams that are executing at a high level.

It takes 6 wins for a championship.

Can’t get to 5 without winning 4.
It’s a nice accomplishment to win a regional.

It gets tougher each step.

Pretty much this although UConn was lethal in transition in their game vs Illinois. Bama has a great team but definitely will need to shoot well from 3.

We have no one low who can match up with their bigs. Going to be a foul fest or we let them score easy buckets. We best be hitting our 3's to make up for their easy 2's

That's what they are doing. BAMA's analytics has no interest in the medium-range shots for the most part. However, teams will sell out and storm the 3-point shooters. BAMA will then drive to the lane and get point-blank shots at the basket or free throws. BAMA has won a ton of games this season just driving hard to the basket.

That's why the NCAA tournament is the best postseason in sports. There is absolutely no chance anyone is beating UConn in a best of 3, much less a best of 7, but in a single elimination format anything is possible no matter how unlikely. I mean just look at what NC State is doing. They were a bubble team at best until they got the auto-bid and now they're about to fight a holy war against Satan's basketball program on Easter Sunday for a trip to the Final Four.

Will probably be a similar gameplan defensively as it was vs UNC. Double teams inside on their bigs since they're not the best 3 point shooting team. Very surprised that Uconn was 2/17 from 3 last night despite being able to pretty much impose their will on offense. You'd think that would lead to a lot of open looks and easy chances from 3, but they still missed badly.

Sometimes it’s just your time.
I hope they think if they show up they will run Bama out of the building . IF we are close with 5 minutes or less to go we will win. It’s what we do.

UCONN is a great team and should be favored. But they have been beaten, they can be beat.

I trust that if we have a great shooting night, we can hang.

UConn is a really well coached team. When I watched their practice at the final four last year, they were clearly the best coached, most focused team there. I suspect they will be again this year.
