Is that how most college games are officiated this year? That lsu ga game was excruciating to watch. So many touch fouls. The game has no rhythm. Just a run and get fouled game that is so slow and boring.

I didn't even watch our game tonight but I'm quite confident that it was reffed poorly. Almost every SEC basketball game is these days.

The officials never get called out on tv either. These guys are straight up awful.

Can someone that was watching the game on tv tell me what happened on the technical call on Georgia for calling the timeout? I was at the game and we had no idea what happened.

Also, for anyone that took time to watch that game I'm sorry.

Although some of those were personal takes, a team getting 55 FTs is embarrassing officiating. You have to back off some on calling fouls or else it just gets unwatchable and that is what the first half of the second half was in this game, completely unwatchable.

Georgia called a timeout to prevent a five-second inbound violation but they didn't have any timeouts left. That's a technical

So when you do that the opposing team only gets one foul shot and you still maintain possession?

Apparently only for timeouts

They were saying coaches will utilize it as a weapon

No kidding. If it just results in one foul shot and you still maintain possession that is just dumb. Just keep calling timeouts

Thats just stupid. If you call a timeout without a timeout, the other team should shoot the technical and get the ball. Otherwise, teams basically have unlimited timeouts.

well each player can only do it once. Aren't they thrown out with two technicals?

All I know is the Alabama/Auburn game was extremely painful to watch. Everything was a foul.

I believe the refs think they are what people came to see.

Apparently that little punk that called foul all the time back in highschool was right.

It has certainly become a problem, especially with Simmons in a few games

In the Houston game, the official literally pulled him out of a timeout huddle

What was the Bama AU game like...60 or 70 fouls? It was absolutely crazy.
