Oklahoma and Texas began serious talks with the B1G back in 2017. They presented their case and sent their applications. Oklahoma was never seriously considered for expansion but there was some interest in Texas. The B1G considered their applications and thanked them for their interest but decided to deny their applications for entrance into the B1G.

I guess both went straight to SEC and were immediately allowed in.

If what you say is true, Jim Delaney was retarded. Admit Maryland and Rutgers and turn down Texas and OU.

Rutgers' AD is about to go bankrupt.

Have you looked at what lsu has been paying in buyouts and new coaching salaries? We pay more for coaches than just about anyone in the sec . You can do a little research and it will show that lsu isn’t close to the poorest school and we have brought more eyes and championships to the conference than most and especially auburn
