They can go where they like.

Sumrall will be Kentucky’s first call when Stoops leaves either way.

Tulane was too good for the SEC back in the day. Now, the SEC is too good for Tulane. They made their bed.

division III Sewanee has a better chance to join the SEC than Tulane.

Tulane should have kept Tulane Stadium and just torn down the rusted upper decks. Yulman Stadium is nice but it's not SEC material. At the Ole Miss game last year the concourses were totally overwhelmed. You couldn't move.

LSU would love being the second best SEC team from Louisiana.

They do offer a presence in northern states, Tulane student population loaded w/yankees

USCe and Vandy have enough Yankees for the rest of the conference.

Sure that's right. Let's shrink our pie slices for a school with no fans.

Tulane had their chance and decided to leave.

Why take them back?

You want us to take Sewanee back as well

I would take *any* ACC team before Tulane, and hell, probably any from Big XII (within SEC geography)

All have more fans and bring more to the table.

Considering that we have an overall winning record against your team, and that even this win for you guys was against an OU team that's probably had worst first-four games of offense in the program's entire history, you probably should consider tying up up that series first before you go making that kind of claim.

Are you forgetting the John Blake years?

Nope.

You never should have left in the first place. If you had stayed, you'd be like Vandy- you'd go 0-8 in conference play every year but you'd make gobs of money that other SEC teams generate for you.

But you left, and now you can't go back.

And, no, if Vandy left, they wouldn't be allowed back either.

Why USCe?

UF is the school that's basically in a "Yankee" state, at least if you go much further south than Gainesville.
