Are you able to make it over for any of the games? I think you'd said your boy had a ball game.

Yeah unfortunately I’m SOL as in-person attendance is concerned. Thought about even trying to make the Friday night and drive back late but we’ve got a baseball tournament starting at 9 the next morning so probably not the best idea

Auburn only played 11 games against the RPI top 10 and is 4-7 in those games
You are wrong. It’s 12 games.
1-1 vs #2 Georgia Tech
1-2 vs #4 Texas
0-3 vs #6 Alabama
1-0 vs #7 Florida State
2-1 vs #10 Texas A&M
That’s 5-7 not 4-7.

Okay. Auburn played 21 against the Top 15 and went 11-10.
Auburn had only 5 losses outside the Top 15… #19 Oklahoma, #21 Cincinnati, #26 Arkansas, #30 Kentucky, and #32 Jax State.
Georgia has six losses outside the Top 15… #26 Arkansas, #31Tennessee, #53 Western Carolina, #54 Troy, #82 Kennesaw St, and #132 Wright State. Georgia has four losses that are exponentially worse than any on Auburn’s resume.
We’re just going to have to disagree here. Auburn and Georgia are on the two furthest extremes for SEC schedules. Yall played by far the easiest of the 16 schedules and Auburn played the hardest. Obviously you think you should get rewarded for just straight up wins and losses, and Auburn fans think we should be rewarded for our overall strength of resume.
You got to take home the SEC trophy to Athens. Would Auburn have won the SEC had we switched schedules with you? No one will ever know, but I think it’s not outside the realm of possibility that SOS had a huge part in the different W/L records.
The NCAA Tournament is different though. The committee looks at a set number of criteria to decide seeding and as it stands today, Auburn should be seeded higher based on their stated criteria. Texas should too. Georgia shouldn’t get a pass on all the metrics just because it won an SEC regular season title.

#4 Auburn at #24 Jacksonville State — 7 p.m
JSU has 40 wins this year... including a run rule demolition of Auburn. I hate seeing this game just ahead of the Georgia series.

Yep... taking another beating from them.

Auburn loses 4-1. Swept by JSU. Going to be pissed if we get them in our regional.

Who the hell is Jacksonville State?
They got a nice record. Would this count as a quad 1 or 2 matchup?

Q1. As a result we don’t drop in RPI at all.

That Geraghty kid just had our lineup’s number this year lol. First game they blitzed Chatt and he’s really not recovered since, and tonight we learned we really can’t count on Griffin beyond three innings quite yet.

We actually moved up to #2… by virtue of GA Tech losing to a worse team than us. We switched places with them.
Jax State moves up 4 spots to #28.

They will probably put them as the #2 in Tech's region since we played them twice and they are actually closer to Atlanta than Auburn.

Good let them go wreck Tech’s day.
Its gonna be interesting to see how the seeding shakes out now that they’re seeding the twos and doing pods.

The softball bracket this year is far from perfect, but the new bracketing rules actually made it more balanced than it's ever been.

Quad 1+2 games played this season:
35- Auburn
34- Oklahoma
33- Alabama
33- Ole Miss
32- Florida
32- Texas
30- South Carolina
29- Arkansas
28- Miss St
26- LSU
25- Texas A&M
25- Missouri
24- Tennessee
24- Vanderbilt
23- Kentucky
20- Georgia
I was wondering why Baseball America has been kind to OU in their ratings this year and that helps explain. We have really sucked late in the schedule though and pitching has fallen off a cliff so this last weekend we need to sweep.
