It’s no worries. It’s just obvious some people don’t understand the ebs and flows of baseball. Some people are better off just watching highlight reels. ????

This being the SEC people are always going to put too much emphasis/weight into short runs of poor play.

Lol only way we were ever going to win this one was by scoring 15+ runs. We’ve pitched some really atrocious arms during midweek this year in service of preserving all of our actual good to serviceable arms for the weekends.
And to be clear that’s less a smart strategy by Wes than a disappointment that someone with his pitching background can’t seem to stock our pitching staff with a deeper pool of SEC caliber arms. He’s done a great job rebuilding our program into something respectable again but thy remains a blight on his work thus far; this is the best pitching staff he has provided us thus far and yet it’s still incomplete and lackluster at times.

We have a great lineup that hits the shite out of the baseball but I don't think we have enough pitching to get to Omaha or if we get there enough pitching to win it all. Still a month left so maybe some more arms step it up but good to great pitching usually neutralizes great hitting and mediocre pitching won't get it done when the bats slow down.

This is true and if we meet in Omaha for a rubber match I’d very much love the position Auburn would be in because of our pitching depth.

Did just enough. Got down 6-1 and clawed back to 6-3. Then finally broke thru with a grand slam and secured the win.
