These pirated feeds on YouTube have been great. I’ve been able to watch the last 4 games live for state. Now watching Texas Houston. They have YouTube sponsored commercials, so they probably let them slide.

While that is accurate, we were up 7-0.. we are losing because of shitty pitching and some miscues..

At least Houston’s RPI will go up?

On the bright side - the last time Texas lost on Tuesday they beat a top 10 sec team the same weekend

Tuesdays are going to be painful for the rest of the regular season.

Well you might want to just tune out entirely next week, because it’s Texas state at home

Not sure texas has beat the bobcats at home in the 2020s

Texas appears to be content with a pitching rotation built to win a series vs a rotation that will win you games when you need it. Fine for conference play but sets up for disaster in the post season. Ill take a dominant closer over a Sunday guy every time.

Plenty of time left for someone from pen to emerge... but for all the arm talent, the lack of consistency and zero "it" factor between the ears doesn't leave me feeling optimistic

They tried burns - looks like that ship has sailed

Perhaps they will begin to groom Winters, Leffew or Crossland moving forward

The inability to close games is astounding though. They have held a lead in all 4 games they’ve lost, 2 of which were by multiple runs in the 9th inning (and another, tonight, a lead by 7 in the 6th)

Max Weiner might not be all that

Crossland and Cozart have been developing decently well. A coach isn't going to have 100% success rate on forcing the pitchers to throw strikes.

Ruger has also gotten a lot better. Luke Harrison has gotten better. So, that's just silly to say that MtVernon or whoever.

So he has 6 guys that can throw strikes and 8 or 9 that cannot. And they’re supposed to be the No. 2 team in the country…?

Sorry, just call it like I see it. Not every starter can throw a complete game unfortunately

I call bull shite on this logic. Just from recollection, games in post conference play see to be more spread out, especially if you're in the winners bracket. Old time (pre-espn) a team diffenatley needed a 3 man rotation. Seems as if now with games spread out for complete coverage, a team can win with 2 hot pitchers and a couple of relievers.

None the less, I think Schloss is experimenting on Tuesdays. Looking for who wants the opportunity.
I can see several arms being "processed" out after the season.

Prisco was cruising and then the 1-run game changed B7 when Monte brought in an arm who had pitched 2 innings all season -

it was quite a statement Forbes brought in the NCU closer in the middle innings - on a Tuesday - the 4 straight losses to Kingston in Charlotte changed how he coaches our series at Truist now -

btw - congrats on firing Hubert Doherty - that historic collapse to VCU in Rd 2 was a sight to behold - Wes MIller just accepted UNCC but he'd probably still entertain overtures for the UNCCH job -
