When someone is that good, has such a national following, and every media outlet will pick up his decision, then yes he too can have a press conference.

Don't see any players coming out of LSU as juniors having that type profile.

It had a college commitment feel to it. I felt sorry for him.

Just getting to comment on this, but good for him. If he had come back I’d have appreciated his love for Bama, but I’d have watched every game with my heart in my throat knowing that his future career could be at stake. Wish him all the luck in the world!

Why wish this on him?

He needs a Lamar Jackson situation

I’m late but lol @ all you BAMA fans that fought tooth and nail at him staying.

There’s ZERO reason for him to stay in college but all of you dummies found some sort of angle to argue. If you weren’t blinded by your redneck, self absorbed homerism, you could see that the best route is to the NFL

Exactly. Just want Tua to get his health back so he can be 100%, or as close to 100% as he can get.

he will be 2nd or 3rd qb this year and would be 2nd at least next year(Lawrence # 1). Learn on an NFL team, get healthy, and get paid. Easy call

I'd be irritated if this was an LSU player doing it too.

I'm just tired of all the "look at me" bullshite. 99% of football fans assumed he was declaring after this year, it isn't like it's breaking news.

When they announced the press conference, I wondered if he was going to return, because that WOULD be a big deal. Kinda foolish and shortsighted on his part (from the financial aspect), but hey, maybe he had decided he could only be a college kid once in his life, and wanted to enjoy that another year.

But simply to confirm what everyone suspected 5 months ago,... that's just attention seeking. He wanted the spotlight. If he didn't, they could have even did an impromptu conference Friday, if you felt you had to announce it officially to the media.

Good luck to the young man.

Seemed like a good kid.

Really needs to work on his durability. The defenses are going to be faster, stronger, and much more violent at the next level

God kid. With the Info he got back in New York about his hips he really needs to think about his best option, which is NFL. Congrads fo the kid in a great college career.

With all the money he is going to make in next few years he can always go back and get it. He won’t. As most don’t. I predict short NFL career though . Hopefully a injury free career.
