Something in my gut is telling me that they will be dreadful again but somehow manage to beat one conference team, most likely kentuck, and even that would be an upset.

False. I think they get someone. Mason impressed me with his press conference. He seems to have a grasp on the situation now and Vandy isn't a total shite show like it was when he got there. IIRC they have 18 starters coming back too.

I would typically say maybe UK but they seem much improved. I don't see Vandy winning any conference games.

I don't see it. I think they'll sneak up on someone. Their schedule isn't horrendous, so it wouldn't shock me if they beat someone in Nashville. Mason walked into an awful situation, so I'll give him time before declaring him a disaster.

True. Mason is a colossal idiot. Any decent middle school coach knows that benching your QB at the first sign of a struggle is retarded. Mason did it multiple times with every QB he had. They had no confidence on themselves by the end and the team had no confidence in Derek Mason. And they shouldn't.

Vandy... well they are in the position of having very low goals for the season. There isn't much hype for the Commodores right now. That having been said...
Kentucky is better this year. Florida is recovering from one of those dumpster fires you can spot from space, and yes, I know Arkansas was in that spot not too long ago. The East is the East.
Meaning on the right night the 'dores can certainly sneak in a win. Just like on the right night anyone in the West can sneak in a win. I think Vanderbilt picks off a team looking to next week.

I hope they win an SEC game, just because the melt will be unbelievable from any fanbase outside of Kentucky's.
