Correct. But it would've likely been 1970 as AP had Bama outside and Ole Miss inside. Will Ole Miss be in the AP top ten and Bama outside?

Ole Miss has as many wins in their last ten games against Alabama as Georgia does

Such a failure. Yet 2-1 against Kirby with more playoff wins than Kirby since he was hired.

I won't lie to you hoss. I'm not looking forward to the amount of crow me & a lot of other fans are going to have to eat the day the playoff committee decides obsolete conference titles > actual playoff wins and goes ahead & awards Georgia with the National Championship......
Could this be the year ?

There was also talk of firing Bear at the end of 1969 when Alabama went 6-5. But instead, he was going to leave rather than be fired. He was going to take a job with the Miami Dolphins but ultimately didn't take it and stayed at Alabama.

In 1970 they didn't do much better but of course went on to win 3 NC over the decade.

I'll take it.
