I'm unsure how you came to that conclusion. I was talking about the 1969 and 1970 seasons and how bad times ultimately lead to good times.

Not always. Shall I point to Nebraska just for starters? How about GT? Yale, Harvard, SMU? All were powers and had great seasons, then fell on hard times and still have not returned to their previous glories. But, for some reason you think bad times "ultimately lead to good times"?
And if you want to know how I came to the conclusion just reread your post.

The funny thing about your post is everyone treated Alabama the way you cite Nebraska back in 2007.
And then Alabama went on to win 6 more national championships. Twice as many as your school has in its entire history.

My team has four. 1942,1980,1981 and 1982. Now, we can argue the point for 1942, but then we can also argue the point of a couple of Alabama's titles.

Based off of last year's SEC Championship game, I would say not likely.
I would go one step further and predict he will have a winning record against Kalen DeBoer.

Actually, I don't think they are on equal footing. Yale has 27 National Championships in football. Look it up.
And I don't think Yale will win another championship. You are the one that amde the argument that hard times lead to good times. Yale won 27 National Championships and are going through a 100 year gap. Do you think they will probably win another one? You seem to.

I'm sorry, I don't have the patience to deal with someone who thinks football teams are nothing but labels while being incapable of taking into account the actual reasons why one team is more probable than the others.

Yet you think every team going through bad times will "ultimately" lead to good times. use Yale as an example. They are going through bad times. Tell us how they will ultimately go through good times.

Georgia was a complete nobody for most of its existence as a football team, except for one year back in the 80's or something that no one can really remember.
Then about 40 something years later they won these last two in '21 and '22.
I mean, Georgia was a complete nothing team that no one followed, cared about, or even knew existed really, for most of the history.
Georgia Tech dominated the state of Georgia forever, if that tells you anything about Georgia. So, the bad times that were always with Georgia, just about only bad times for over a hundred years or so, eventually lead to good times recently.
A Georgia fan is the the last person who should be discounting how bad times can lead to good, Mr. Tacky and Cheap Nouveau Riche.
