No clue why he’d be seeking a 6th year, his stock literally could not get any higher and the qb draft class couldn’t be much weaker

I got no dog in this fight. In fact, I'd say anything that's bad for Old miss is generally good for all of civilization. HOWEVER, it's curious that Chambliss gets denied while over at USC Chad BM is drawing retirement and boring his teammates in the locker room by telling them what birds he saw today on his feeder in the back yard.

We just played against a QB who was on his 6th season. If it’s done for others, there’s no reason not to try.

Beck got a 6th year because his first season was the COVID year, then he took a redshirt the following year. He didn't apply for a medical redshirt without medical records to support a hardship

Perfect summation for me

Chambliss is represented by Tom Mars.

The Tom Mars who uncovered Hugh Freeze’s phone calls to hookers while Mars was representing Houston Dale Nutt in a case against OlMiss?

CFB is a filthy, filthy business

Its about being the first to get it out there, not grammar.

And now the lawsuit comes...

Ferris State didn't have any documentation on the supposed illness that kept him out and their only notation was that he was withheld from play for competitive reasons.

Sucks to suck. His consolation prize is the NFL, not a bad way to go

Right call by the NCAA.

Ole Miss will be joining us in the cellar soon.

I’m biased. I want to see Trinidad play for us again. I admit that.

But that blanket Covid year extension allowed wiggle room for these calendars. Ole Miss attempted to do this within the rules through the NCAA process and we will likely file another appeal. We’ll see if Trinidad wants to exert more pressure with Tom Mars to push it further. It’s up to him now.

Over what? Is he going to lie like Justin Fields did?

He will likely either be a late first or early 2nd rnd pick in the NFL draft. Is it really worth Chambliss fighting the decision in court?

A lot of QBs drafted in the second round only last a couple of years in the league. If he can get 7 figures for playing college football thats what he should do. First round is a different story.

Find a new qb. The rules are not “fluid” they are skirted by teams and players trying to cheat and abuse the system. Just like fields did when he cited “mental health” as a reason he needed a waiver to transfer

Yeah let’s just sue the NCAA so everyone has unlimited eligibility! Dudes going to be 24 at the start of the season, go to the NFL.

I agree, it's probably a good time for him to go to the nfl. Stetson Bennett was 24 when he won his first national championship and Carson beck is in his 6th year right now and playing for one
