AL.com had a news story that Mizzou was selling their tickets to the public for $100 each and Auburn fans were all over the website.

That ACCCG is more embarrasing than our matchup in the SEC. I didn't think that was possible.
Pac 12 game is a home game for ASU...$59..

OK at Ok St are $110
UT at Baylor are $100

This lady I work with is a Bama "fan". She bought tickets last week. Lulz. I say "fan" because she's also a UNC basketball "fan". Didn't go to either school, nor is she from either state. Earlier this season she told me Bama was playing "Texas Tech" that week.

Mizzou sold tickets online and apparently the AD didn't put in the location restrictions.

Most of the tickets were pre-sold, but the ones that weren't were able to be purchased by anyone, including those in Alabama. It was a real oversight.

That's what you call a major whoopsie.

To be fair, you could probably get away with that in the Big 12.

Bama & Barn fans always have the advantage. They give 17,500 to each team, but when the game started in '92 in B'ham you could become a SECCG permanent ticket holder & Bama(especially) & AU fans wisely bought a ton of these extra seats...

Hate those people. My mentally challenged Aunt has lived in Tallahassee for years and for the first time in ever she's now a nole. Can't name anyone outside of Jameis but she's an obnoxious twat nonethless. She about had my Bama aunt and uncle swing on her after she made an arse of herself all day and then kept prodding after the Iron Bowl

fricking hate those people including my dumb arse aunt.

The funny thing is that we had the geographic limitations on occasion in the Big 12. No clue what happened this time.

The first part is true. I can confirm, bought mine from MU website @100 a piece. I also heard the latter as well.

The issue I have about geo restrictions is for the alumni that live out of state. I live in Ar-Kansas and my brother lives in Atlanta. Should we not be able to purchase tickets because of our location? They need to give everyone that is an alumnus an ID code that can be entered in or something like that. Would solve all issues.

FYI, the first 10,000 of the 16,000 were pre-sold to season ticket holders, so I would assume all of those are Mizzou fans (now what they did after with them is anyone's guess). So of the 6,000 seats that were left, I'm assuming a chunk were sold to Auburn fans. I do know, however, a ton of Mizzou fans who are going to the game and flocking to the secondary market (price for uppers has been hovering around $300 per for the past few days but are down around $200-$215 now.

If you're interested in going, check stubhub over the next day, as there are about 4k tickets that have to be bought by Wednesday so they can be shipped by Thursday to arrive by Friday. The bottom is going to fall out when people have a hard ticket that they can't convert to a .pdf and something is better than nothing.

I'll be headed there btw; 1400 miles RT and worth every penny.

It depends. The one's being sold by the schools needed to be next day aired. Mine are scheduled to arrive at my brother's today. So if someone is trying to resell those they will have to mail them.

I disagree, I think it is for everyone going to the SEC championship. It's supposed to blow across Miss and northern Bama too. Seems SEC related to me.

It doesn't ICE over in Alabama. But I wish you happy and safe travel there and dejected and safe travel back.

Typically I can for any other Mizzou contest on campus, but for off-site events like this and away games we can't generate .pdfs of the tickets. Stubhub lets you show tickets only that don't have an electronic delivery option. I bet the price just bottoms out in the next day and then spikes back up for the people who DO have electronic tickets that can sell them up until gametime.
