Anyone worried about the weather barging through later this week?

I am planning to leave work around noon on Friday and it looks like we are going to get hit pretty hard by ice Thursday and Friday. This could suck, especially for us Mizzou fans planning to attend.

Sounds like a mess. I'll buy your tickets so at least you don't have to worry about that.

It is looking concerning for those that are driving. I am leaving Thursday night and hope to make it from KC to Marion, IL and make the rest of the drive on Friday. Looks like I may need to leave Thursday morning to avoid any "wintery mix" that us Yankees deal with up north.

Thanks for your concern, but my brother lives in ATL so he will just take a friend.

you driving or flying?

Not sure about Missouri, but in the south, the problem is we dont really salt the roads, so the ice doesnt go away.

In ATL after the 2011 storm, they have added numerous salt housing structures, but once you are about 30 miles outside the city, you are SOL again

Driving.

I disagree, I think it is for everyone going to the SEC championship. It's supposed to blow across Miss and northern Bama too. Seems SEC related to me.

Safe travels to the Yankee contingent. My wintery mix will consider of a good dark rum and just a splash of Coke -- oops, I'm sorry, soda or pop.

Tickets are cheap as frick... Starting at $200 on Stubhub. If they forecast bad weather they'll continue to drop

That ACCCG is more embarrasing than our matchup in the SEC. I didn't think that was possible.

When it snows in Atlanta it may as well be raining fire because people in this state lose their god damn minds. You get a 1/10th and inch of sleet and suddenly people dunno what the frick this slushy shite is and decide it's better to just ram the shite out of a guard rail or spin out.

I love GA but holy hell are we embarrassing during inclement weather
