Plesse. I think that title goes to Swag Kelly vs Nathan Allen.

1970 Bert Jones v Archie Manning. LSU won 61-17 to clinch the SEC title and a birth in the Orange Bowl on the last game of the regular season, and it probably cost Archie Manning the Heisman trophy in the process.
Joe Namath and Steve Spurrier also met in Tuscaloosa in 1964.
I think the AJ McCarron/Johnny Manziel matchups in 2012 and 2013 were pretty memorable as well.
Obviously not forgetting Manning v Wuerffel in 1995-96, but that was mentioned in the OP

You’re probably young, but Pat Sullivan vs Archie Manning was pretty epic back in the day. 60’s had some stellar SEC QB’s.
Archie vs. Scott Hunter was fantastic. May have been the first nighttime broadcast of a college game.

Archie and Sullivan never played each other. Sullivan played for Auburn from 69-71 and Archie for Ole Miss from 68-70. Ole Miss and Auburn only played each other once while either were in school, but it was in 1971 after Archie was gone.

I think Wuerffel vs. Kitchens in '96 was more anticipated.

Archie Manning and Scott Hunter in pre-division era.

If Mond and Jordan Jefferson cpuld play a game against each other that would be the best all time.

This is definitely the first time in SEC history that the SEC Title game may feature the Top 2 Heisman candidates and decide the award.

Trask is a good system qb. Mac is a better qb period.

This doesn't even make sense. Dan Mullen has specialized in running a power spread offense that has a focal point of a running QB. The exact opposite of Trask. Trask is the opposite of a system QB, he's a system breaking QB

McElroy was not more than an above average QB though
After all the hype, Tebow was not more than an above average qb

He was a helluva fullback in short yardage!
He was an outstanding college Qb in Meyers system but would have been far less without Harvin.

He finished fifth in the Heisman voting in 2009 without him and might have won it had Florida defeated Alabama in the SEC title game.
