Bama has the #10 in the country and #1 in the sec
LSU has #16 in the country and #2 in SEC

Things to note....
1. Texas a&m is not in the top 50
2. LSU would be higher had the mcneese game been played
3. Steele>Chavis

Other than that 80-yard run by Chubb, I thought Bama did a great job against a monster back like Chubb. That other back they got though was getting some yards when he ran on the short side of the field.

When you look at where our defense was before, I'll take the upgrade.

Bama contained our run game. I wish we'd have ran it on second down more, but it wouldn't have mattered.

When you have a great offense, you don't have to have a very good defense.

I think there should be a * next to MO. They have played no one of any significance.

vs. Common Opponents:

Texas A&M 30, Mississippi State 17

This one probably matters the least, actually. Defensive and Special Teams scores count against this number. It's a stat that's fun to brag about, but doesn't always paint an accurate picture.

If you think our Defense isn't light and day better than last year, you are a stage 4 homer LSU fan.
