The Kansas State game in Kauffman is going to be fun. Wish it was on a weekend though so I could make the trip.

Ole miss opens with #6 ECU. I'm guessing that's our best series

This, and either State or Southern Miss is probably our best mid-week OOC game

We have Texas Tech this weekend and go to Oregon first weekend in March. Midweek - South Alabama and Ole Miss. Baseball is weird though. We might find out later that some smaller schools but a hell of a baseball team together and sneak up on anyone.

ETA - actually we play South Alabama on a weekend and have a mid week later on. They are supposed to be pretty good (as in just out of the top 25) this year.

It's too bad we don't play all our home games in Jax.

Kentucky has beaten some big OOC teams early in the season on the road in the past. Hopefully they can replicate that.

Our weekend OOC schedule is bad but we need the wins and experience. Love that we play GT in the midweek again this year and I hope that series continues

I like our OOC games this season...

Frisco Classic: Arizona, Nebraska, Oklahoma State

Midweek OOC: Memphis(2 game series), Missouri State, Kansas State(KC)

Not too bad, but a strong OOC and we should learn a lot by the time SEC play starts on the Hogs.

Ole Miss' OOC schedule is rough. Our first 3 weekends are

#6 ECU
#30 UNC Wilmington
then TCU, Texas Tech, and Baylor in the Houston tournament

hardest midweek games are probably MSU and Southern Miss

I didn't realize UNC Wilmington was so strong this year.

Presbyterian isn't awful, but Auburn's OOC series as a whole isn't much. We need time to gel with a brand new team.

They're pretty solid. They came pretty close to winning the South Carolina regional last year. They went into the regional finals with advantage, but USC beat them twice.

UNC Wilmington could flat out hit last year. I expect them to be solid once again.

I looked at Tennessee's baseball schedule. You can go ahead and just remove them from the topic. Not just because of the weak schedule, but because it's Tennessee and baseball.

No, it's because the schedule is embarrassingly soft.

Serrano trying to build confidence maybe?

Yeah, it's a schedule that is definitely below SEC OOC standards.

They haven't scheduled that poorly before. They must be trying to get as many wins going into conference play as possible. The only logical thought as to why Serrano is still coach is maybe they want the new AD to make the hire. I dunno...should have never canned Delmonico
