It isn't just the players, it is the coaching staff and game strategy. When everyone in the entire freaking stadium knows you are going to run the ball up the middle on first and second down, it isn't that hard to stop. Especially when your team is as talented as bama's front 7 was this year.

We're not just talking about LF's performance against Alabama. I'm speaking on the fact that the guy who owns the single season rushing record in the SEC, the single season TD record, school records for career rushing yards and TDs, Heisman, Maxwell and Doak winner, consensus All-American, is somehow not a "top 5" SEC back within the past 10 years.

All because the OL he was behind was not, apparently, "complete garbage" and his OC wasn't "inept".

Seriously, the arguments some people make in support of their RBs makes me wonder why a 5* RB would go anywhere BUT Alabama. I mean, why go somewhere where the coach refuses to throw a forward pass and your OL is filled with invalids and cripples.

Fournette will go a full round higher than Henry. Why? Because he's much better.

If he was truly that much better he would go 2 rounds higher minimum.

Henry was the best RB in college football last season.

Signed

Heisman Trophy, Doak Walker, Maxwell Award, and Walter Camp Committees.

The End.

Didn't even get to rush against 128th ranked and dead last rushing defense Eastern Michigan, 127th ranked rushing defense Texas Tech, 109th ranked rushing defense South Carolina, 79th ranked rushing defense Syracuse, or WKU.

Sarcasm in response to the clown saying LF7 would go 1 full round higher.

Keep up Cas.

And everyone was pretty shocked when they won that award.

If you watched Alabama pre-LSU game and you came away thinking that was an elite OL then I question your football IQ.

The OL advanced stats and TFL Against stats are pretty clear.

I didn't go back and read anything else in this thread. As soon as I see you posting, I immediately know the thread has probably become a shitshow.

If Fournette rushes for 1900 and 22 again, he becomes the 2nd leading SEC rusher of all time and only the 2nd player in conference history with two 1700+ seasons.

He will also be 2nd all time in rushing TDs, first among RBs.

So, yeah.

Henry > Mcfadden

Henry had more TDs on like 180 fewer carries. I'd only put McFadden on top if you factor in the return game.

I know I was. It seemed like every time we ran a play action pass or a bootleg there was a defensive end or a linebacker right in Coker's face when he looked up to find his receiver.
