While I don't think any of those teams have bad defenses, I think the fact all four are in the same conference suggests the strength of that conference's offenses might be suspect.

They don’t run modern Offenses in the Big 10 this year. A legit offense will put points on those teams

I think there were a total of 15 passes thrown in the Michigan/PSU game by both teams combined. The "scoring defense" stats of that entire conference may be ever so slightly skewed.

Drew Allar threw enough passes for me to know that he's not good. PSU is in a lot of trouble, and if Michigan wants to believe that beating them proves a point, they are in for a rude awakening.

Calling what the Penn St QB was doing “passing” is pretty charitable.

Didn't throw a single pass in the 2nd half yesterday.

Not one.

Penn State

Despite being behind virtually all game they only passed for 70 yards yesterday.

Yep. This year it's almost going back to the Woody hayes era. He said there's 3 things that happen when you pass, and two of those outcomes aren't very good

Perhaps in the 3 yards and a cloud of dust B1G. They have yet to face a modern offense

There’s only one team that ranks top ten in offense (5th) and defense (9th).

The same goes for Ohio State. They can chest pump the wins against Notre Dame and Penn State all day long but it won't help them other than getting a push from pundits who are more concerned with TV ratings than true prowess.

Something like 9 of the bottom 15 in P5 ppg are in the Big 10. The offense absolutely blows in that conference. Even when the SEC was an elite defensive league they still lit up the scoreboard against OOC teams

I've seen pee wee QBs throw with more intention and accuracy than Drew Allar. That kid lacks confidence, chest, and perhaps ability.

While the disparity between offensive and defensive performance of LSU is stark, Iowa may be the most significant gap of all time.

It is crazy.

Right cause OSU doesn’t know how to compete with UGA

I don’t believe that any of those Big defenses are really that good.

They aren’t bad, but they are propped up by bad Big offenses.

I think Georgia, Bama and aTm are all actually better defensively
