I was at that game. I sat there for several minutes in disbelief after that shite happened.

You're right. 1st half was as electric as 2nd half was gut wrenching! Lots of tearing up at football games was going on down here that month.

Some more old schoolish selections:

1986 South Endzone goaline stand against ND. When Tim Brown went down for a loss on 4th & 1, 90 yr olds in S Endzone went airborne.

1986 Guidry to Sammy Martin against Tx A&M for long TD.

1987 LSU vs Ohio St. When John Cooper held team from coming out of tunnel until LSU did....the whole Andolsek-Spielman coin toss thing. Some serious vintage 80's Big 10 hate flowing that day.

Fun to remember those, but 03 Ga, 12 Bama, and 07 Fla were the loudest.

1. Tennessee 2009- moment of the blocked FG
2. Florida 2010- Burton jump-pass INT
3. Those are the only two that really stand out as individual moments. The loudest section I've ever been in is this past year's SECCG, when we sacked Murray in the 10 yard line. The entire stadium wasn't that loud, b/c it was split 50-50 and half of the stadium was silent.

The 4th qtr. of the Bama/aTm game was pretty loud when AJ hit Cooper on that long pass to get to the 4yd line that Bama couldn't convert a TD on.

that was Kenny Bell. Cooper scored on his bomb.

The 3 loudest that I attended in person in Death Valley:

Age 6: Oct. 25 1969 #9 LSU vs #5 Auburn, my first Tiger game. Jimmy Gilbert throws a halfback option pass to Andy Hamilton for a 55 yard TD on the first play from scrimmage.
My little ears were popping. LSU won 21-20.

Soph year at LSU: Nov. 1982 #11 LSU vs #6 Florida State. Winner to the Orange Bowl.
Pregame was the loudest I have ever heard it.
And when the costumed Mike the Tiger chased an LSU student dressed like a Seminole and broke his spear in half - the student section exploded.
LSU squeaked by FSU 55-21.

Nov. 2008 #1 Alabama and LSU tied at 21 with a few seconds left. Bama attempting game-winning FG in SEZ. LSU blocks the kick. Insanity ensued.
Unfortunately Jarrett Lee threw an INT in the Bama end zone in OT.

Hon men: (that I've seen in person)

1982 LSU-FSU Hilliard screen pass TD, Eric Martin TD catches.
1986 LB Michael Brooks intercepts A&M pass to clinch win 35-17
2000 LSU bats down final Tennessee pass in OT
38-31
2003 Skyler Green catches winning TD pass from Mauck in NEZ to beat Georgia 17-10.
2005 LSU's LaBrandon Toefield scores Vs Tennessee to open scoring in first Death Valley home game after Katrina - on a Monday night.
2005 Auburn placekicker doinks potential tying
FG off of NEZ goal post. LSU wins 20-17
2011 The Honey Badger returns #3 Arkansas punt 80 yards for tying TD in 2nd quarter in eventual 41-17 win.
2012 Jarvis Landry catches go-ahead TD pass in SEZ against Alabama. (Although IMO the entire LSU-Bama game last year was on another level and off-the-charts for tension, noise, suspense, etc - esp. in the 2nd half.

Those are some great ones.

I was at DV in 2006 when Russell to Bowe came back and beat us. That td to tie it with less that 20 seconds left damn near blew out my eardrums. Then we blocked the extra point and silenced it all, such a crazy turn of events.

Unfortunately Shaefer fumbled on our first possession of OT and we lost. That one and last season are 2 of the toughest losses in my life as an OM fan. Still great experiences nonetheless.

2010 nebraska and OU. Our seats are near the top of 3rd deck on the west side. Both games the stadium was moving so much that I started getting a little sea sick.
