It would be nice if there were comments from opposing players. Everybody on the list is pimping their own school which is expected. I think hearing from the opposing point of view would give us the best idea which stadium atmosphere is the best.
Numerous people have given LSU props

LSU has been my favorite so far as for stadium and noise. Great, traditional stadium. Sanford was also a cool atmosphere...

Give me a sideline seat between the twenties and above row 30 in the lower bowl, and I'm going to be happy in any stadium. I don't like upper decks and I'd rather be watching on TV than sitting lower than row 20 in the the finest stadium in America.

Alabama fans, in a nutshell: obsessive, obnoxious and utterly, unfailingly loyal. In 2007, 92,000 showed up for the spring game.

Atlanta Falcons and former Tide All-American OL Mike Johnson says: "There are so many traditions that make Alabama what it is. … But to me, the one thing that stands above all is that crimson jersey. There are high school stars who skip scholarships from other schools to walk on at Alabama to wear that jersey. I can remember the first time I put it on; I got chills. It's hard to explain; it becomes who you are and what you stand for. And who you play for. It's something I will always cherish and never forget.
quote:
Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Tide All-American WR Ozzie Newsome says: "When you're recruited at Alabama, the players tell you that you come here to play in a major bowl, play for an SEC championship and for a national championship. … You are told that you have a chance to be a part of something special because playing at Alabama was something special. … While you're there, you want to make sure you maintain that tradition and history. You don't want to be that group or that class that loses and takes the program backward.

Eight national championships (the school claims 13) and 22 SEC championships. Then add in 57 bowl appearances (32 wins) and 97 first-team All-Americans and Bryant-Denny seeps history. It will play an even bigger role in Alabama lore going forward; after years of playing some games at Birmingham's Legion Field, the Tide moved all home games to Bryant-Denny in 2004.
Also won 4 Southern Conference Championships before the SEC was formed.

Ok the panel of coaches-Ff course they say it because they probably lost there. But, they also say it because its always loud as hell when your a top 25 team going into enemy territory. Loud is loud. You get to a certain point you can`t here what the person next to you is saying, and it happens at every BIG game in the sec.
LSU and UA fans need to stop defending themselves. Death Valleys reputation is solid and everyone knows its raging every Saturday. Bryant Denny is a pro stadium. The tvs in the corners are sick and theres no way its quiet w 100000+. That list was appeasing every conference. I want to go see a game at ND. But its more to see the tradition and history, not to experience a great game.

Collectively, they named BDS #1. What else do you need to hear?

I don't think the majority of them have ever coached a game at BDS. Maybe as assistants a long time ago.

Agreed. I never said anything to the contrary.

Absolutely. I can't wait to visit Beaver Stadium next year too.

This is a really important list--The Sporting News only comes out with 19 of these a year.

With the upgrades they've put in, I don't know how you argue about them not being #1.
There's being objective, which I greatly appreciate, and then there's being a suck up douche. Stop being the latter.

Very overrated. Bryant-Denny becomes a morgue when Bama gets behind.

I find it hilarious when an Auburn fan, or Alabama fan, or LSU fan, etc.. Call another fanbase trashy, or rednecks, or hillbillys, etc.. When ALL fanbases have those types of fans. Also, i find it hilarious Bammers always talk shite about Auburn fans owning trailors when fans of ALL fanbases do. It is just flat out fricking hilarious. Same thing goes for mullet loving weirdos.

You're here posting on the SECrant!!!
Honestly, LSU fans are by far the most fun when they aren't tigerbaiting. Even if they do leave early. The dramatic flare is what makes y'all you...
