Get a 10 point lead on LSU and their asses will go home.

Auburn and South Carolina are legit. Oregon and Virginia Tech seem like they’d be cool af. I’d go to a Va Tech away game. My first memory of a Bama game in Tuscaloosa was in 1973 when Bama beat Va Tech 77-6. Four Bama runners had 100 yards of rushing.
LSU and “Death Valley.” LOL. I remember my first game there with my parents, aunt and uncle in a couple of conversion vans. I think I was 14, 1979 or maybe ‘80. Rained all night, 40 degrees. We used garbage bags for rain suits. Bama won 3-0. Bama owns that dump.

Yes sir, I think that's what I was thinking of
I've been in both.
Very scary.

Crump was bulldozed over a decade ago. I last saw it when my father had a surgery at Methodist Central across the street. And it was never near Orange Mound. It was in the Medical District. Hard to believe there were college games there once.

I think Ole Miss and Arkansas played against each other there a gazillion years ago,
Or that could be more of my imagination.

Empty stadiums in the 4th quarter are kinda eerie.

This is no lie. Don't forget your bulletproof vest, and hope your teams bus doesn't get tipped over if you are traveling there.

It's not your imagination. Old Crump hosted multiple SEC matchups back in its heyday 80 years ago. Once the Liberty Bowl was built, it was left for dead

Weird, I never found Death Valley particularly frightening.

I don’t know how to quantify and rate things like this. In 4 seasons I don’t believe Napier ever won a road game against a team with more than 4 wins on the year. But, he definitely upset some much better teams at home. So I’d say the stadium has effectively “won” some games they shouldn’t have.
