Go! I've followed it over the years..... but only the postseason. I know we have some knowledgeable die-hards on this site I would love to hear from.

And we didn't even need him to pitch in the championship series to win.

Top 4 are easy:
1. USC
2. LSU
3. Texas
4. Arizona State

Next 3 can go in any order but not below 7th:
5. Miami
6. Cal State Fullerton
7. Arizona

Last 3 are trickier and can be others:
8. Oregon State
9. Oklahoma
10. Florida State

LSU's probably got 2 or 3 in the top 10

That Cal State-Fullerton team was a beast

Texas with Clemens

Tennessee a couple years ago

The top 5 are reasonable, but USC's championship resume is really only good 20+ yrs ago. That Vol's season could have a lot more credibility if it wasn't the Rants' biggest troll being its sportsman. ( mabe sportswoman)

2023 LSU and it’s not close. That team would wreck any past or future team in a 3 game series.

2024 Tennessee had a better record (overall, in conference, and Omaha), won the conference (regular season and tournament), and was a higher overall seed (#1) than 2023 LSU.

In addition to all that, 2024 Tennessee had a higher batting average, more home runs, a lower ERA, and a higher fielding percentage than 2023 LSU.

2023 LSU was a great team but they didnt have the accolades or stats that 2024 Tennessee had

1995 Cal State Fullerton was a dominant team. 57-9. (Better winning % than that 2024 ghey orange team).

2023 LSU lost two series that year both in SEC play
2024 Tennessee lost one series that year in SEC play

I think Rice had a team in the mid 00’s that had a 3 man rotation of first rounders and won a title. They’d probably be in the discussion.

Some of our fans would probably say the 85 team with Clark and Palmeiro but I think our 2016 team was better

ETA: did a little digging.

85 team had 4 future MLB all stars in Will Clark, Rafael Palmeiro, Jeff Brantley and Bobby Thigpen and those are the only that made MLB

16 team had 2 future all stars in Rooker and Lowe but more overall MLB guys

Paul Skenes vs Drew Beam. What a matchup. I bet that’ll be a close game.
