If Tony V takes the job my worry is a rumor I am hearing about Danny White wanting to make a big splash on the next hire. I think that’s a huge mistake. We should hire Elander. He is ready

Here is what is known. Tony makes 3 million a year at UT. The Giants last manager made around 4 million. Based on cost of living and taxes the Giants would probably have to offer over 5 million to equal it out.

I don’t think the money is the issue. Tony will make less money in the MLB simple as that. I think he just wants to see if he can win a World Series and it’s about that not money

Honestly, he would be a terrible fit to coach in the pros. He can't be an insufferable *cuunntt* like he is currently and maintain a professional clubhouse.

This is such and odd situation to me.
I think Vitello is a top 3 coach in the NCAA and is great for the college game.
I do not think Vitello is an MLB coach, his personality just doesn’t translate to that stage imo.
Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
Could he be using this as a means to get more money out of UTe?
