Bama game almost certainly prime time with Georgia and Tennessee on earlier. You hate us but we have given you some entertainment.

You realize CBS has SEC games in 2023

Miss the music, miss the great moments, and miss Verne’s chortle.

I love action football photos regardless of the team

I know Gary sucks and the games are insanely long etc, but I am going to miss tSEC on CBS so much. Even when Verne was going senile and couldn’t get two players names correct consecutively, it was ok because he’s like the old drunken grandpa we grew up with.
Think of how many major moments/wins we have all witnessed on CBS. Now imagine those very things happening but instead of Verne or Nessler putting the cherry on top with a great call followed by the GOAT theme song, replace it with ESPN’s shitty production and some super generic dildo calling the moment

For real man. The production quality of cbs is clear of the other networks.

CBS still has an SEC game of the week next season. In 2024, CBS is out.
I won't miss them. Inferior announcers, too many commercials, and poor production quality.

That realization hit me big time the other night watching the replay of TSIO. CBS couldn’t have covered the ending any better with those angles and both Nessler/Danielson had enough sense not to talk the entire time. Just incredible work all around.
I cannot imagine how badly ESPN would’ve goofed up that entire iconic scene throwing nonstop graphics up there and their idiot commentators trying to cram in whatever stupid talking point of the week ESPN wanted to run into the ground

They’d have talked over it and sent it to the sportscenter studio within a minute

Crazy. Let's give em one to remember!! Hard to believe they're going with the Big 10. SEC has done well for CBS ratings
