Todd Walker seems yo think Tennessee has the best chance to win the Natty from the SEC. He released his top teams in order that he think that have the best chance to win the Natty. Here is his top 4 teams with best chance according to him.
Tennessee is the best per Todd Walker.

1.UT
2.UF
3.LSU
4.Vandy

I’ll believe it when they can win away from Knoxville

I actually agree with you on this. But this is Walker assessments not mine. He did say though that is the biggest block right now, is rather they can win away from home.

I can see the logic; Tennessee has a deep pitching staff. They may or may not lose to someone's ace in the first game, but the deeper they get into a longer format (regional, 1st week of Omaha etc), the harder it will be to knock them out. They may be the only team not spitting in the wind in a game 4.

If LSU can get Floyd in a groove, they have the best chance at the best-of-three series (super regionals, CWS finals); but they have to get there first.

I would move Tennessee down to 4 and move Arkansas in at #1. He is wrong to leave them out of the top 4 imo. Vandy is reeling right now. I know they are without 2 starting pitchers, but they are ice cold at the plate as well.

Arkansas is playing the best ball at the right time so I’m not sure how many bourbons Todd had before making this list and leaving them off of it.

Right now the Hogs are surging. Lots can change- but they have to be mentioned in the mix, IMHO....

They will be lucky to make a regional final at this rate.

Yeah Todd was a pretty good hitter back in the day - but that Tennessee pick - swing an’ a miss for young Todd on that one.

About year 4 of not being able to hit plus no pitching to bail you out.

Tennessee road record at 2-11.
They have played better but still not showing the level of a top tier teams. They also have the arms but the arms haven't been good.
To put on Tennessee and leave off Arkansas is to pick and choose certain strengths and weaknesses while avoiding records.

He’s entitled to his opinion, but Arkansas did sweep UT heads up. Not that it means much from here on out. Just a weird pick for him, almost like there is an agenda there. Baseball is a weird game and things can turn quickly

Firstly putting the #MCWS should lose him all credibility.

secondly, Arkansas has played through injuries all year and played well. their pitching is solid, hitting is solid. They potentially have the best shot

LSU is still LSU. if their bullpen gets some confidence back they are the best team in the country.

UF has picked up steam since SC swept them. They look so damn good.

SC needs their hitters to get some confidence and shake the rust. If they do that, and the pitching staff pitches like they did at Arkansas we will be fine.

UT is dangerous no doubt. They just have to be more consistent
