How well would your team be doing without its 1rst string qb half your defensive starters and rotation guys?...just bad luck with injuries and fg woes continue to bite us in the rear.

Well if you finish top 3 every year in recruiting, should this really be an issue? Quit crying

Before the next what?

Win? We have the playoff after the SEC championship game.

Impressive top 10 win? We have multiple of those already this year. Bama doesn't.

Get over yourself. Bama is irrelevant in the CFB world for a few months and you inbred Hicks absolutely cannot stand it.

Get some hobbies, make some friends, leave your trailer once or twice.

LSU really did break you and then Gus out coached Saban. Will Bama travel well to Charlotte for the Belk Bowl?

So you are asking how would teams play with their current team...

Bama goes 3 deep. Your second team is usually better than half the conference.

Stop whining; so what that you had to play with what resembles 95% of all college football.

Bama will be back. But now so is LSU. This year is the lowest talent level LSU will have for several years. The LSU Oline and Dline are very average. Btw LSU had to Dline and Two Oline starters out much of the season. TAM is loading up as well. So the analyst advantage that Bama had is gone. The national recruiting advantage for Bama is not nearly as big. The offensive scheme advantage..Saban went to Kiffin six or seven years ago..LSU finally woke up.. so that advantage is gone.

The SEC west will just get more competitive.

Kentucky used a wide receiver as QB for most of the season.

Nope. Not happy at all with this wasted season, but it’s always fun kicking Bama’s arse. Enjoy Saban while you still have him. You’ll be fearing the thumb again soon.

Bama has indeed had a lot of bad breaks this year, and undoubtedly they will be better next year. My team will likely take a step back as we lose such a talent at QB, and maybe a lot of juniors. Our 2018 class is not very deep, so we need to flush that, and that will take a year.

The bigger picture is this: Bama's dynasty was predicated on outrecruiting everyone. That hasn't been happening the last three years. In fact, that's over. Georgia, Clemson and LSU are all recruiting better than Bama now. It looks even in the rankings, but that's because there is still a Bama bounce that occurs because the services assume Bama is getting the best guys - they're not.

Saban is losing his edge as he approaches 70. Everyone does. And his example has caused the chase group to pick up their game. I think Bama has about a 1 in 4 chance of winning the natty next year, and those chances will get longer with each passing year. The odds are that Saban has won his last championship.

Probably have a better chance of it going through the uprights than if Bama was the one doing the kicking.

Mac Jones was committed to Kentucky for 2 year before Alabama swiped him. We had to play a WR at QB most of the season so save your tears.
