2012 SEC Championship: 1st and goal at the 8, down by 4 points. Instead of spiking the ball and clocking it with 15 seconds, Georgia decides to run a hurry up play which is tipped, caught by a UGA receiver who falls to the ground. In bounds. Game over. Alabama cakewalks Notre Dame 4 weeks later for a championship.

2017 National Championship: Georgia is up double digits at the half and lead the entire game. They get the benefit of a missed field goal to let the game into overtime. Their kicker is one of the surest from medium range. They make their first kick in overtime. They get a sack on Alabama's possession. Their kicker can't make this kick. The game is almost over. Then Tua and 26 happens. The game is over in an instant.

2018 SEC Championship: Georgia is really going to win this one. They're up double digits in the second half. They've just knocked out Bama's Heisman hopeful. All they got to do is control the clock and pin Bama deep.

They run a fake RUNNING punt on 4th and 11. Hurts completes the miraculous comeback. Georgia loses another.

The misery here is poetic.

I go back to the Blackout game all the way to present day. They will be coming to TTown the next time they come back onto the schedule too.

Wasn't 38-10 enough? Is it really necessary to pull the beating hearts out of Georgia fans' chests every time Bama plays the Dawgs now?

...and yet Georgia is the only SEC team really competing with Alabama. Georgia is the only one that has Saban saying, "I don't want to play them again."

Seriously. As an LSU fan I wish we put up as much of a fight as UGA has been doing the past couple games. Life should be peachy as frick for a UGA fan with the way their program is heading.

I personally enjoyed 2015 a lot. We had just lost to ole miss for the 2nd year in a row. People were saying the dynasty was done. Georgia was a favorite in that game I believe. First time in a while Bama wasn't the favorite I think. Sweet Win.

He said that to try and help Jawja get into the playoffs. Would Kirby have done the same?

That's simply not true, Saban knows there are plenty of teams that can win any given night. Georgia is the best team in the East for sure and Florida, A&M, LSU and Auburn I promise you give Saban worries and the remainder of the SEC teams are good and can win at any time.

Those double digit wins are concerning Saban.

Show me a direct quote where Saban has said that about another team in the conference.

He said he didn't want to play them to convince the committee to let them play again?
I think Alabama would win if they played again today, but I haven't seen another SEC team equal Georgia's fight.

What's not to get? LSU beat Georgia. Florida beat LSU. Georgia embarrassed Florida. LSU didn't show up against Alabama, and Georgia took the Tide to the wire.

It's about more than one game.

No its not, Alabama has distanced themselves from every team in college football. Georgia plays in the SEC East and clearly the weaker division.

Again a loss is a loss and if Tua was healthy the Georgia/Bama game would not have been as close
