I'm going to give the highlights:
- converting a 4th and 24 (from the UM 14, with under 1:00 remaining) for 57 yards!
- EIGHT plays in the Red Zone (in final 40 seconds, I think)
- FIVE plays inside the 10 Yard Line (six if you count the TD called back for MSU offsides)
- a presumed game-tying TOUCHDOWN
- a mock dog peeing in the end zone
- a missed 35 yard PAT
- converting a 4th and 24 (from the UM 14, with under 1:00 remaining) for 57 yards!

Great summary, except you left out the MSU player going lobster, even as Ole Miss was spiking the ball to stop the clock. Also on one of the early incompletions a MSU DB just missed a game-ending INT.
Would have been an epic desperation drive if not for the piss up at the end.
I had gotten a couple of the details wrong in the heat of the moment. Thanks for summing it up.

You gotta love the Egg Bowl. On 4th and 24, I was like “how are they gonna get it because as a State fan I know they will.” Meanwhile our little brother, who suffers from the same disease we do, was like “okay how do I blow this. We’re OM, so we have to blow it.”

Cute way to loose a game. A lot of difference in kicking a normal extra point, and trying to kick one 15 yards further back to try to tie the game.
It also took away any chance to go for 2 to win the game.
Cute, but his "look at me, look at me" may have also cost his team the game.

I always thought Miss State was considered Ole Miss little brother in football. I’m not being sarcastic or trying to stir shite either, that’s the impression I’ve akways had and heard from others.

I was at the in laws house watching on a small tv w/the sound down so maybe I missed it but I thought this was an awful call. Of course the ref crew was terrible all game long. Old Miss had linemen 5-8 yards downfield on passes all game long and the refs seemingly only started to call it late the game. I know there were shite calls in favor of Moo as well but none that I can specifically remember off hand.

Both that pass interference and the roughing the passer were bullshite calls. I can for give the pass interference because it was a bang bang play but the roughing the passer was egregiously bad.
