Now you're making stuff up.

Completely pointless and stupid.

The Bama/A&M game will go one of two ways:
1.) Bama comes out firing on all cylinders and jumps up early on A&M. JFF and Co. will get it together a little and close the gap but not enough to win.
2.) It is a shootout in the beginning but Alabama establishes a running game during the second half that A&M can't stop and Bama wins through controlling possession and keeping the ball out of JFF's hands.

Yeah, just as I suspected. You mad.

So you see no scenario in which A&M wins? After all the improbable, talentless upsets Ole Miss has pulled over the years?
Posted on 7/18/13 at 11:24 pm to mwlewis
Or:
3.) A&M comes out amped up for the biggest regular season game in school history (from a purely football perspective--1999 Bonfire game against t.u. will always be the biggest IMO), jumps on Bama early and hangs on for the win

This is a possibility nobody seems to be thinking about. Alabama, respect to every game in Baton Rouge they've played, has no idea the buzzsaw they are walking into on September 14th.

If Bama even comes out a little tight, Aggies will blow 'em right off the field in the first quarter.
And as much as Bama appears to be focusing on this game, that could very well happen.
THEY are the ones with all the pressure on them. Defending national champions trying to prove last year's loss was a fluke to the SEC arriviste.
TAMU has nothing to lose, and is playing with the 12th Man behind them.

Death Valley is NOT Kyle Field.
There is no preparing for the environment they're going to walk into. It's one of a kind.
No, I don't think they'll be intimidated, but they will have to acclimate themselves to it.

Pointless bad threads. I love it. The other threads on here are so awesome.
My favorite posters are the ones trying to "fit in" and pile on.
Not much difference in threads in the offseason there champ.

Yep.
LSU can talk about the earthquake game all they want. I've been to big A&M games since the mid-90s and several big LSU games in Baton Rouge (Godfather is an LSU alum) and I've never heard LSU as loud as A&M at OU in '02 Nebraska in 2010. If the A&M crowd is jacked, and Bama gives them a reason to stay loud, look out. Nobody in college football has a problem shutting up like A&M.

Weird organized chants lead by male cheerleaders is quite frightening.

Spoken like someone who's never been to CStat on gameday.
Nowhere else in America quite like it.

I don't doubt that at all.

It's not the chants, it's the noise. A&M has to be down by 4+ scores before the crowd stops yelling every single down. Never seen another fanbase like that. I've been to games where we were down 17-0 and it was loud as the opening down.
All I'm saying is our fans are stubborn, they don't shut the frick up unless you really, really make them.

Excuses.
I say again, EXCUSES.
There is no excuse. You came out hot and Bama came out sluggish. Is Bama (and everyone knew this before kickoff) having a bad week of practice an excuse? No, it really happened, but it isn't an excuse, it just explains why Bama was slugging around to start. That won't happen this year. Ask Florida, ask Auburn, ask LSU.
