Just stick to women’s b-ball...only thing UT is relevant in...oh wait...are they even good at that anymore? Maybe it’s softball? I always get my Tennessee women’s sports mixed up

Tennessee is much better than LSU this season in men’s basketball.

You could probably tell me more about the women’s sports if you’re interested. I don’t follow them too closely.

That’s the only 2 you could think of?

I was just naming 2 blue bloods. There is not much difference between the programs year in and year out beyond 6-10 programs and maybe 6-10 at the bottom of the P5. If you have a good coach it’s very easy to rise up and become a perennial tourney team and make a run every 2-3 years. That is all I’m really asking for. My concern is that Barnes may not be able to do that.

He’s done a nice job stabilizing things but he has given us results very similar to what plagued Texas. I just hope we don’t let him hang on too long.

Not sure if you're trolling or not, but I'll bite.

It's not as easy to make a "perennial tournament team" as you think. It took Mike Anderson a solid 4-5 years to get Arkansas back to where we're even in the top half of the SEC year in and year out.

Barnes has been at Tennessee less than 3 years, and you guys look poised to make the tournament this year. I would give Barnes some more time to build up his body of work before freaking out.

Bruce Pearl was the Vol's lightning in a bottle. Be happy with Barnes.

If Barnes is going to put in literally 0 effort recruiting, then he’s not going to be afforded forever to turn us around.

Yes. Exactly what plagued texas. He won't change his coaching style either. Your ad will try and talk to him and he won't listen. He will keep making the same bone headed coaching mistakes and won't adjust.

You said you were at the game today. So I wanna hear all the ways Bud Walton Arena is better than Thompson-Boling Arena.

Not exactly. Go back and look at the number and caliber of players who left Texas early during a four-five year stretch.

I don’t think making the tourney most years and an occasional run is unreasonable. Every serviceable coach in the modern era at Tennessee has made the Sweet 16 by year 3.

What are Arkansas’s fans thought on Anderson? No troll here either.

Obviously he didn’t walk in to a great situation either but is there any pressure building with his lack of success in March so far?

Louder than TBA has been in 5 or so years but aesethitically I prefer TBA on the interior. BWA looks better on the outside.

Nothing much different beyond that. Both are very nice arenas.

But but but you was telling the Rant how awesome Barnes is as a coach. I laugh at your bipolar stupidity.

It's a generalized you, but it can be inferred by your post that you expected to lose. So did you expect to win or lose this game?

When we are up 8 with 3 to go against a team we’ve been better than all day, yeah it’s safe to say I expected us to close that one out.
