I really feel like FL is a win. Their O-line is trash, their best blocking back is out, and we have the best pass rush in the league right now, imo. We won't score very much, but I have difficulty believing their offense will do much of anything against us. I feel like 10-2. losses to A&M and USC.

Florida will probably need some takeaways in Mizzou territory to win. I think they will get some.

Not sure what you mean by own the East.

Eastern division champs? doubtful. But hey, it could happen.

That's what I mean.

If they only have one loss in the East, wouldn't that put them as the Eastern division champs?

This isn't a trap - legit question.

Our offense is very legit though. I'm not going to make crazy predictions because new qb scares me, but our rb core is excellent, our receivers are excellent, and our oline is definitely proving themselves this year. We will be able to move the ball against Florida, but not to the capacity we have seen thus far. Franklin has been good, but our offense won't stop functioning without him. I think Mizzou will be able to put up some points, but I don't see where Florida is going to match them.

We should have a decent home field advantage too. Coming off the upset in Athens the crowd will show up and be enthused. This should be a close game, but I think mizzou comes out on top.

No, it's decided by total SEC record.

This is possible, but I think we lead the league in takeaways right now. Mizzou defense has forced a turnover in 36 consecutive games, longest streak in the country. Florida's offense has been very unimpressive. They're averaging about 22 ppg, our defense has been allowing 23 ppg. Game will be hard without Franklin, we won't score much, but I really can't imagine Florida getting into the endzone more than 3 times

9-3 and a nice bowl would be great after last year's disappointment.

Add in the fact that we played the second half of the season with a backup QB, and you would be crazy to call that anything but a successful season.

I've changed my mind about UF on Saturday.

I think UF loses by 2 TDs. Don't have a good feeling at all.

Not sure if srs...

I did hear though that the forecasted temp at kickoff is 41. Welcome to Missouri, Gators. Don't y'all hibernate when it gets that chilly?

With Franklin out 3-5 weeks, I'll take 9-3 (I predicted 7-5 before the season started). Even though I think UF has one of the top 3 defenses in the country, I still think we beat UF and USCe (Homecoming) at home. Btw, the inside word is that Eddie Printz should lose his redshirt sometime in the next 3-5 weeks; possibly in the second half against UF if Maty Mauk lays an egg.

The way this is phrased makes it sound like its more than just Tigerboard speculation.

Not my PERSONAL inside word, but related from Gabe DeArmond--proprieter of PowerMizzou. He usually doesn't put stuff out there unless he has a pretty solid source. The staff is VERY high on Printz.

Gabe is good people. If Printz gives Mizzou the best chance to keep winning, they had better get him in the game.

A very highly-respected poster who has strong ties to the program says that Printz seems have an arm as strong and acccurate as Gabbert's. On the other hand, Mauk already has a few series under his belt and is more mobile.

SEMO, the forecast high for Saturday is 60, but I agree that 41 at kickoff would be nice for a game against FL!

I feel like UF will be Mizzou's super bowl this week and Mizzou will win. I think they have an inevitable little bit of a let down against us and we beat them in 2 weeks because can't sustain that much energy for 2 weeks in a row in the SEC. Hopefully, they win the rest of their games because I am not sure Georgia will lose again and need a strange tie breaker. Just not impressed with Florida.

I'm so glad you're here to make sure everyone has realistic expectations. Without your guidance, we would all be lost.

That could happen-but we've taken care of the ball all year, and we just finished two SEC road games in a row without any turnovers. Maybe we're due.

But I think it is just as likely that it's FLA turning the ball over in their own territory, and it honestly would not surprise me if our defense outscores their offense by itself.
