I feel like half of Ohio States team was just drafted. They're gonna make a run next year?

Ya, I think Michigan probably has a better chance at making the CFP than Ohio State

Is Boise st. still good? I figured all that kind of went away after Peterson left.

Awesome. 60th Anniversary of the one and only time they played in the Sugar Bowl.

Kind of agree with you here...however, they were expected to be there last year and didn't make it...with all the talent they lost, expectations won't be as high as last year and they could play looser and make a run...should know how good they are early on as I think they play Oklahoma the second or third game in the season...

There is optimism as Barrett is entrenched as the starter and he is a "dude" when in control. Some of the losses are a bit overblown, but I think OSU should be in that preseason 8-12 sweet spot. Too early for real predictions, but I could see them beating OU on the road, gaining confidence, and having a pretty good year with 1-2 losses. Puts them right in the running for a playoff spot

Edit: Don't want to make light of the personnel losses at all. Zeke is a huge loss, as are Thomas and Lee. Bosa is a loss as well, but OSU played 3 DE's last year a good bit and the other 2 performed very well. Meyer has said he wants to go a lot more hurry up this upcoming season, which seems smart based on how Barrett can run the offense almost as an OC on the field at times

They will have a good offense, but they lost all of their starting front 4 on defense.
