NFL scouts said he is going to fall out of first round due to substance abuse issues in line with Randy Gregory. That's pretty serious. Said he failed multiple drug tests.

How come he never missed any playing time?

This is called misinformation in order to make his value drop so a team can draft him later than what he's actually worth.

I'd think the fact that he remained a situational player even as a senior has as much to do with his stock falling as anything else.

NFL scouts say a lot of things. It's in their best interests to hurt a guys draft stock because they want the guy to fall to them. Maybe he smoked a lot of weed, maybe he didn't.

I can only laugh though when "scouts" start taking about the severity of "marijuana abuse" considering this isn't photoshopped

I mean, look at that fricking picture

Sounds like he has a serious problem. But we already know that Saban doesn't do a good job of handling kids with drug problems.

Stats don't tell the entire story of a performance. Deshaun's running ability kept a good bit of our players from tackling him including Williams. But if you'll watch the game again, Tim Williams was very much coming off the edge and putting pressure on him. That's just how good Deshaun is.

Saban wouldn't let a little hootch disturb the process. Just ask Cam Robinson (hootch with gun), Hootie Jones ( hootch with stolen gun), Tim Williams ( lotsa hootch, gun), ........who knows how many more Bama payers learning that rules apply, just not to them.

Saban, while at LSU, allowed a safety to continue playing until the 7th positive drug test.

Saban does not punish players with playing time for MaryJane... Others could learn from Saban. Legalize NOW...

I remember Dre Swagpatrick getting busted for a few kilos of weed like five days after he declared for the NFL Draft. I'll leave you to come to your own conclusions.
