I think if Southern Mississippi goes to LSU for a regional the Eagles will take down the Tigers again!

sarcasm is like a second language for me. we know we suck. that's what makes my point valid. the worst team in the SEC is pounding your bullpen. regional competition will be much better than us. Our pitching staff is barely JUCO level

Been saying for weeks, I would be surprised if they make it to Omaha. The loss of the injured pitchers has proven too much. Not enough depth on the staff.

tournament play is totally different than weekend series. you've got to have a deep, capable bullpen to make a tournament run

You're also going to be facing, in general, much less talented teams in a regional than you would in SEC play.

Ty Floyd’s been good recently. He kinda melted after the delay against auburn but struck out 8 of 9 batters to start. Then today he had 10ks with 1 earned run.
Gotta get something out of the pen though. If we lose tomorrow I’ll be very concerned. I’m already concerned ,but If we win the series it’ll be hard to be too upset . Bullpen needs to show out tomorrow though

if there was ever a time where its acceptable to hold back your ace for game 2 of a regional, it will be this year for LSU. Unless they draw nichols in the first game.
