Definitely would’ve liked to have seen Jarvis go longer but I think the plan was always to get Smith in by the 3rd or 4th inning

From my observations they stink it up early, start making noise in the 5th-7th innings then see what happens and let the pitchers do the rest. Not a good recipe for long term success, imo.

I’d pick Hagen in that matchup tbh.

Wouldn’t be the first time. But it’s meet there or in Omaha , that’s what they want to avoid, there could easily be an all sec cws.
