Weird not to be playing on Thursday this week. I think the Hogs just got done with three straight Thurs-Sat series.

Feels like a must win series if we want to be competitive in our first year under Wes.
This will also be our first series with true home field advantage as 3 of our 4 series have been on the road with the exception being vs Bama during spring break with all students gone

bigD, are you gonna take the the 9-9-9 challenge this season?
Posted on 4/11/24 at 8:30 am to Hback
Hb, I had to look that up and I wish I had known about that in my younger days, I would have certainly tried it on for size.
9 beers, 9 hot dogs, in 9 innings.
3 hour game is 180 minutes, so roughly 20 minutes per inning. Just hope it's not a pitcher's duel.
But no sir, I quit drinking about a year ago. And I can't put the food away like I used to either. Just put me out to pasture I guess.

How in The world are we 15th?

Can we talk a little Gator baseball?
I've only seen one game of theirs. From what I noticed they struggle with the slider. Has this been the case or the reason for the recent struggles or was that just the game I witnessed?

I think we struggle throwing all the pitches, not just the slider.

My apologies, I'm talking about hitting. Yall are loaded with hitters. The one pitch I saw UF struggle with was hitting the slider and it was painfully obvious the game I attended.
I'm curious if teams are doing this against Florida now through scouting or was the struggle I saw a one time ordeal

By God buddy I'll drink those beers for you.
Actually I won't. That much carbonated drinks would make me hurl. As for the hot dogs are we talking like those quarter pound monsters you can get or regular sized ones?

I would think the normal kind with the shriveled up buns. Definitely not the Texas Ranger's boomstick.
