Would’ve been a first down and then Arkansas wins by 15… PAC 12 refs are trash

That was a terrible call. If the refs are going to hide behind replay, they need to rethink this "just let the play "play out" and we'll review it."

That’s what getting fricked by the refs looks like

Another example of the replay booth being completely worthless.

PAC 12 refs
I started to look for this info last night and got distracted.

That explains fricking everything. They're actually the worst refs in the country.

It really is only worth extra commercials and getting the ref more screen time

This bad call did add to the entertainment value of this game. I turned to this game in overtime expecting to see Ole Miss - Texas Tech. I had been watching the Auburn Basketball game and had no idea Kansas made a comeback. Very Entertaining OT.

Have to agree, at the time (live) it looked like he was down, and then I thought the replay actually corroborated that he was down.

Not sure what they were looking at to allow the fumble to stand.

If the on field officials are encouraged to let the play go in order to not inaccurately stop a play too soon... then the booth officials need to make a call without knowing what the on field call was.

This "overturning" crap is crap.
It completely defeats the purpose of calling what the eyes see (which is reffing 101).

Might have been the worst officiated bowl game in history. Those refs were beyond awful.

I thought the targeting call on the goal line was just as bad. The QB was being thrown to the ground and was on the goal line when the second defender led with his shoulder and trying to prevent the ball carrier from the crossing the goal line, in what universe is that targeting?

How about that targeting call in the second overtime?

Don't forget the 1st down that wasn't a 1st down. Think it was near the 5 min mark in the 4th qtr. If I have time I'll try and look it up.

That's probably targeting by the book but it's a good time to keep the flag tucked away

Funnily enough that's probably the call that was closest to being right that they made. The fumble, PIs both called and uncalled, Kansas O-line literally bear hugging our D-line to the ground and not getting called, giving a full yard to Kansas for a first down they didn't make, calling it first down on a 2pt try in OT, etc.

The list is a mile long. That crew was fricking atrocious. It's no wonder the Pac 12 lost interest in football if that's the shite they have to deal with on a weekly basis.

Oh damn, that was a backdoor cover?!

Somebody out there with Arkansas -2.5 is pissed.
