I think Bama's front 7 played fairly well last night on defense. If we had one corner to step up and play with some heart and finally say that this guy isn't going to beat me, it would have been a completely different outcome. I'm happy that lsu has no Manziel on their team.

I agree with this. But I think we're getting better- especially on O.
Mettenberger could have a special year. Landry & Beckham (sounds like a law firm in Lafayette
) are a helluva 1-2 punch. Jeremy Hill is looking as good as last year... Defense is coming along.
I guess we'll see....Things get tougher this week....

Offense clicked, defense didn't. JFF was the difference and there is no one even close to being the caliber of player he is.
No other QB can make plays using their feet like JFF which bodes very well for Bamas defense.

Belue had Evans shut down until he got hurt and Bama scored 35 unanswered points after he went out aTm came back

LSU is a very good team, but any discussion about whether they are #1 in the SEC has to be tabled until they play UGA.
TCU falling apart against a mediocre Texas Tech team means we don't have enough to evaluate where LSU really is. Your offense is clearly better than last year, but the defense is still unproven.
