This may be the luckiest 1 year turnaround ever

First, I want to congratulate auburn on a great season. I don't think this was a lucky season for auburn. They were blowing Georgia out and Georgia was LUCKY to make the game that close in the end. The win against Bama, as heartbreaking as it is, they won the game. No way you want to lose a game like that and I don't question CNS decision but because we hasn't stopped them all game he as well as I didn't like our chances in ot.

Now, the scariest part about this is that Gus won a natty with his offense his first year at auburn as an oc and now he is back at the big game in his first year as a hc. With that six year extension, he isn't going away for a while.

ROLL TIDE!

Iron bowl tickets

Posted by lastlap53 on 10/18/13 at 10:13 pm
I was trying to find two good tickets to the Iron Bowl. Can anyone help me out?
Why is everyone calling out the defense as a whole. 300 of those yards came from one receiver. This is the first time since Saban first season that he hasn't had a 5 star at corner and it shows.

I was talking about one of the guys who were on the other end of record setting day for JM & MW.
I think Bama's front 7 played fairly well last night on defense. If we had one corner to step up and play with some heart and finally say that this guy isn't going to beat me, it would have been a completely different outcome. I'm happy that lsu has no Manziel on their team.

Anyone have a pic of that one sign someone is holding up that says

I have it but I don't have a clue on how to upload.

That's pretty much the same D lsu beat them with last year. They ran a 4-2-5 with 4-1-6 personnel. So he's actually a copy cat

Sorry, didn't watch. A 4-2-5 is nickel defense which is what Bama runs the most on D. Taking a LB out to bring in a safety to add more flexibility isn't a big change from the norm so I wouldn't consider that copying. If he wanted to copy, he would have done it last year.
Everyone is joking about this defense but with the personnel that Bama has, it makes the most since. Just think of a 4-2-5 defense, minus a linebacker, with hard hitting safeties like HaHa, Vinnie and Landon coming up in the box. When Bama win this game with that D, everyone will call CNS a genius and follow suit like always.

Nice for Landon to work his way up to sixth db. Great player.

I see what you did there.

Sounds desperate

How does that sound desperate? Under normal circumstances, Bama would be in the nickel. The only thing different, if they play this way, they are replacing a LB with a safety who can play in coverage.
I was thinking about this earlier and think this is a great idea. It gives you so much flexibility without showing your hand. Bama is very deep at the safety position and with Geno being back this game helps a lot. I would imagine that Vinnie will spend much of the night in the box.

I hope he really think about what he's doing. I had a full ride to Tuskegee back in '01 but decided to give up football. That was the worst mistake I've ever made in my life. Football is not like basketball; there's no pickup game to soothe the craving.
I sure someone will take the bait. Did you see the line give him time to do anything tonight?

I refuse to believe that Bama will finish third. I know the O-line played like crap but their is too much talent for them not to correct this problem. Things got a little better when Kellen spelled Arie.
This whole defense is flying around and getting of blocks very well early on.

Is betting online banned in states like Alabama? When I lived in Bama I couldn't play poker for real money online because Bama is not a gambling state. Once I moved to St. Louis I was able to gamble online.

I'll throw in the farm with the house. If there's one game I'm confident in, it's the one in College Station. After the lost to Florida in the SEC game in 08, I watched the game on dvr several time during the offseason and what I saw was Bama controlling the game but Tebow made the plays that had to be made. I was confident that Saban would have the boys ready they meet again and boy did he. Tebow cried and Urban started planning his escape.

With that being said, there is no way in hell that A&M is winning against Bama this year. Manzeil is not going to catch anyone of guard this time and make some of those lucky plays. With ask that he did, that game sent down to the wire.

I just got here and was wondering which thread to post in, the "won't lose" or "may lose". Either way I'll take Bama and A&M.....in the second half.

ETA-"may lose"
