He left Arkansas to become a major league pitching coach. Completely understandable.

He left being a major league pitching coach for a playoff team to become LSU’s pitching coach.

Remember that next time you hog fans think Arkansas baseball program is anywhere close to comparable to LSU

The League is way too loaded for any one team to be favored to cakewalk thru 30 games. What, 4-5-6 Top 15 teams? The aggies, currently ranked at # 15, start off playing the #1-2-3 teams in the conference if I heard the announcers correctly. Which means the back end of their schedule has to be easier. Same with LSU's early schedule. Mite come down to who doesn't play certain teams?

I mean respectfully that isnt because LSU's pitching coach job is better than a MLB pitching coach job

other factors clearly came into play, and its a good look for yall but that is a step down which he could be doing for different reasons.

Especially Tennessee. Every year overrated. Garbage.

It’s one of those perfect storm situations with the recruiting class having guys forego the draft and crazy good transfer portal haul.

Anytime I think of Wes Johnson as LSU's pitching coach, I get so pissed off. I love WJ and it infuriates me that he's now the pitching coach at an SEC rival.

So, you understand about 1% of LSU fans and Nick Saban.

Tenn took your advice.

Ehhhh, its March. Thompson has been a different player this year at SS for us, but I would take Hunter Haas in a heartbeat. I really like Moss as well.

Not as good as last years Vols team.

LSU fans, this is how it’s done right? I mean it’s true and all, and obvious but it needs to be mentioned every thread right?

Unless we are going against a crafty Lefty. And A&M most have 10 on staff. My guess is y’all just gave everyone a blueprint. Hopefully, crafty lefties aren’t as plentiful on other staffs

we've seen the past few years how that overall No. 1 seed does in Omaha (or before);

no doubt, lsu is stacked; look forward to next weekend;

A&M figured out just throw more lefties and we eventually will look clueless

They went 7.1 IP with just 1 ER today

I mean we’ve actually hit lefties decently this year compared to last year. A&M’s freshman today pitched really well and I don’t think either team’s pitchers or hitters knew where the frick that ump’s strike zone was

At this point, they don’t have a weakness. I don’t say that lightly.

Durability is their test right now.

We looked pretty shaky on defense today, we didn't keep scoring runs and let yall back in the game. Your coach made all the right moves today
