It’s frustrating that Leach loses games he shouldn’t. See: Memphis, Texas Tech last year, LSU this year but at Mississippi State, this is quite a different feeling:

Top 25 wins in the Sherill era(13 years): 11
Top 25 wins in the Mullen era(9 years): 7
Top 25 wins in the Leach era (in his 3rd year): 6

That's not really a thing. All coaches loses games they shouldn't.

I think you have a shot at 2nd in the SECw.

To be honest, this is the game that worries me most left on UGA's schedule.

Not Tennessee. That game is in Athens and I think UGA will be primed for it.

But on the road in Starkville against a MSU team that will likely lose a game or two they shouldn't so that UGA might overlook it... but be capable of putting up a top 15 quality effort? That is worrisome for me.

Leach will always lose games he shouldn’t but turn around and pull stunners off. You just have to live with it

Downvote me all you want. If they go 11-1 and lose to us, they consider it a failed year. You have to live down here to know what they’re like. The Egg Bowl is the only game that counts to them.

If we lost to OM and still made the SEC championship game IDGAF about that game.

Ok. We both know that circumstance is not likely.

So all the years you don’t have have a chance at Atlanta — frequent for us both — this is the only game you truly care about.

MSU has actually gotten there though.

Ole Miss hasn't.

LSU has a good team this year and it’s hard to win at night in Death Valley

That wasn’t really a wtf loss

Again… that means nothing to them if they lose to us. I’m sorry this offends so many. They live for one game and one game only.

There is not a State fan alive that thinks the 2014 team that lost to OM was a failed season

And LSU lost to that power house Free Shoes University.

Fact is most teams outside Bama over the last 12 years and Georgia more recently, lose games they should win here and there.

It is called competition. With the transfer portal and NIL being like it is, I predict we will see more of this happening in the years to come.
Why?
Because teams will be more inconsistent game to game because they will not have gelled. You only get that by experience on the field in actual games.

It’s probably a heathy thing it hasn’t been a game to really determine the west. They would have to move the game back off campus for safety reasons. Lord there have been some crazy moments on and off the field with that game and I would rather us burn down Jackson than either campuses

UGA will lose both those games imo.

Miss State will squeek out a win and Vols will expose you in front of the entire nation.
